QTA is the invisible plumbing of the modern world - the servers, the cables, the infrastructure every other company quietly rents. In 19xx it needed 90% fewer employees.

You have been chosen for a Synergy Exercise. Four seats. One Immunity. A Salesman who deals with cheerful, sociopathic HR energy and has clearly hosted this many, many times. The rules are simple, it says. Play the cards. Match the departments. Empty your hand.

It does not explain what happens to the people who don't.

BOARDROOM PURGE

The main event. Three rounds of Accumulation to build your position - then the Purge begins, and at the end of every round after that, the player holding the most cards is Terminated.

Which turns the most innocent action in any card game into a confession. Every draw grows the thing that kills you. Every card you force a rival to take is an accusation, made in public, at a table where everyone is counting.
