What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Tie Down is a systems-driven, open world game, and the best way to make it truly enjoyable is by getting it into the hands of players early and building it alongside the community.

Early Access allows us to gather real feedback on core systems like vehicle assembly, jobs, and progression, and use that feedback to guide development in a meaningful way.

Rather than developing everything in isolation, we want to iterate quickly, expand the game over time, and shape the experience based on how players actually play.

The core foundation is already in place, and Early Access is about expanding and refining it with the community.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently estimate Tie Down will be in Early Access for around 8-12 months.

This timeline allows us to expand the game with new vehicles, systems, and content, while continuously improving performance and polish based on community feedback.

That said, development will be driven by progress and quality rather than a fixed date, and we’ll keep the community updated as the game evolves.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The core of Tie Down will be available from the start of Early Access!
The full version will expand on this foundation with more content, systems, and polish.

Planned additions include:
- New purchasable vehicles.
- Vehicle Customization.
- Expansion to the existing world, creating more opportunity for unique deliveries and exploration.
- Ongoing bug fixes and performance improvements.
- Improvements to existing systems for a more polished and immersive gameplay experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Tie Down features a solid and enjoyable core gameplay loop, with players able to buy vehicles to complete delivery jobs and earn money while exploring its detailed open world.

At launch, players can expect several hours of gameplay through core systems like driving, and job based progression. While the foundation is in place and fully playable, many features, content, and systems are still being expanded and refined throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan to offer Tie Down at a lower price during Early Access, and increase it as more content, systems, and polish are added over time.

Our goal is to reward early supporters who join us during development, while keeping the game accessible as it grows in scope and value.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want the community to actively shape Tie Down as it evolves.

We’ll be gathering feedback continuously through Discord discussions, in-game testing, and community polls to help guide development. Players will be able to share ideas, report issues, and influence which features, improvements, and content we prioritize next.

That said, while community feedback plays a big role, we’ll always filter decisions through the core vision of the game to make sure everything stays cohesive and meaningful.”

About This Game

Tie down means to physically secure an object so it cannot move - and in this business, everything needs to stay put.

After living life on top of the world, a series of bad choices leaves you with nothing. Left to pickup the pieces, you purchase a questionably sourced phone from a fellow homeless man, and begin rebuilding your life by delivering packages across the island of Westlake Bay for the Greystone Corporation.

Accept contracts and deliver packages of all shapes, sizes, and weights across the island.

Grab, load, and secure everything using physics based interactions.

Explore the open world of Westlake Bay and discover distinct towns, hidden locations, and eccentric people with stories and problems of their own. Keep your vehicle fuelled, yourself fed, and your cargo off the highway.

Browse the marketplace for cars, trucks and trailers. Meet up with sellers, expand your fleet, and find increasingly questionable ways to carry larger loads.

Build trust with Greystone to unlock more valuable packages, longer routes, and better paying contracts. Bigger jobs demand better equipment and a little more creativity.

Build your delivery business alone or with friends in online co-op.

Thank you so much for checking out my game. I am a solo developer that is very passionate about the games I make and couldn't do it without the support of the people closest to me. I will continue to strive towards a player first experience as I develop into the future. I welcome any and all feedback, and hope you have fun playing!
