Why Early Access?

“Outplay is built around player interaction, social pressure, and unpredictable situations. Because of this, player feedback is very important for balancing the rounds, improving the game, and refining the mechanics of player interaction

Early Access will allow us to test new rounds, events, and gameplay mechanics together with the community and gradually improve the game based on player feedback”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect the game to remain in Early Access for approximately 6–12 months

During this time we plan to expand the game with new rounds, additional events, and more customization options”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full version of the game, we plan to add more rounds and random events, expand the variety of gameplay situations, and further improve balance

We also plan to introduce room customization and character customization

In addition, the game will receive UI improvements, optimization, and further gameplay polish”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At the moment, the game is already fully playable and includes: online co-op for 4–8 players, more than 40 gameplay rounds, 7 final events, a system of random gameplay situations, a phone communication mechanic between players, and various social interactions between players”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We do not currently plan to increase the price after the game leaves Early Access”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to actively interact with the community and take player feedback into account during the development of the game. Players will be able to share their opinions through reviews and discussions on Steam, as well as through our communities on Discord and Telegram

We will monitor player suggestions, discuss ideas for new rounds and mechanics, and take feedback into account when balancing the game and adding new content. This will help us gradually improve the game and develop it together with the community”

Each round introduces a new situation:

  • someone receives a gift

  • someone is confronted with a gun

  • someone’s food is poisoned

  • someone pretends to be someone they’re not

Players decisions can completely change the course of the game

In this game, the truth isn’t always the best choice.

Sometimes, to move forward, you’ll have to lie.
