What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“I chose Early Access because Concrete Polishing Simulator is being built as a systems-driven simulation where feel, pacing, and progression benefit greatly from player feedback. I want to involve the community in shaping how tools, jobs, and progression systems evolve over time.

Early Access allows me to gather real-world player input on what feels satisfying, what needs refinement, and where additional depth or clarity may be helpful, while continuing to expand and improve the overall experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Concrete Polishing Simulator is expected to remain in Early Access for approximately 12–18 months. This timeframe is an estimate and may change as development progresses, based on player feedback and the scope of improvements made during Early Access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan for the full version to offer a broader range of job types, locations, tools, and progression systems compared to the Early Access release.

Development during Early Access will focus on refining the core gameplay experience while exploring the addition of new environments, expanded business and reputation mechanics, more equipment options, and deeper customization and gameplay systems. I also plan to continue improving performance, stability, and overall polish based on player feedback and testing.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is a playable, hands-on first-person simulation that focuses on the core concrete polishing workflow. Players can take on jobs, use a selection of professional-style tools and machines, and progress through multi-stage floor processing systems that visually respond to player actions.

While the foundation of the gameplay loop is in place, some systems, content, and features are still in active development and may change or expand over time.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to evaluate pricing as development progresses. The price may increase over time as new features, systems, and content are added and the overall scope of the game expands.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I plan to actively gather feedback through the Steam Community Hub, discussion boards, and update posts. Player suggestions, bug reports, and gameplay impressions will help guide prioritization of improvements, balance adjustments, and future feature exploration.

I also plan to share development updates that highlight changes, experiments, and areas where community input is especially helpful.”

About This Game

Concrete Polishing Simulator

a hands-on, first-person sim about turning rough, damaged concrete into clean, polished, decorative floors.

Step into the boots of a professional concrete finisher, take on jobs, use real-world inspired tools, and work your way from small residential projects to larger commercial contracts. Every floor starts unfinished. What it becomes is up to you.

Developed by a Concrete Polisher

Concrete Polishing Simulator is being developed by someone with real hands-on experience in the concrete polishing trade.

From surface prep and grinding to polishing, sealing, and edge work, the game is built around the real process that turns unfinished concrete into a professional floor.

From Rough Slab to Finished Shine

Concrete polishing is a process, and every job has stages.

Remove trash and surface mess, grind down rough concrete, refine the floor through multiple passes, polish it to a clean finish, and seal the surface to bring out the final look.

Each step changes the floor visually as you work, giving you that satisfying before-and-after transformation one pass at a time.

Hands-On Tool Control

This is not just a menu-based job simulator. You are on the floor doing the work yourself.

Use different tools for different parts of the job, including hand grinders for tighter areas and larger floor machines for wider coverage. Each tool has its own feel, feedback, and purpose.

Push the machine, guide your passes, work the edges, and learn how each stage affects the final result.

Build Your Reputation

Start small and prove your work through completed jobs.

As you progress, take on new spaces, improve your equipment, and grow your concrete polishing business. Better work means better reputation, better contracts, and bigger opportunities.

Your name is on the job, so every floor counts.

Real-World Inspired Process

Concrete Polishing Simulator is inspired by the actual craft of decorative concrete finishing.

Work through a floor-finishing process based on real trade steps, including:

Surface preparation

Grinding and cutting

Honing

Polishing

Sealing and finishing

Edge and detail work

Tool-based floor coverage

The goal is to capture the satisfying rhythm of the trade while keeping the gameplay approachable, visual, and rewarding.

Reactive Floors

Watch each job transform as you work.

Floors visually respond to your tools, showing the progress of each stage as the surface changes from rough and dirty to smooth, refined, and polished. The more complete your passes, the better the final result.
