Why Early Access?

“>SYS//PURGE_ is my first ever released game. I really want to make it as good as it can possibly be and player feedback is necessary in order to do so. That's why I want to let people play it as early as possible. Feedback will really help to steer the game in the right direction.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I think it might be a year or two before I'd be comfortable calling this game "done". My plan is that the game stays in early access until I add the final map/boss.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For now I plan to add 3 unique bosses, 2 more maps, and an additional game mode.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Right now Map 1 is fully playable, alongside Endless mode. Gunplay, item system, and movement are working, while enemies and item effects still need a lot of work. ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Game stays free!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I'm always open to feedback. I plan to read everything the community suggests, be it on Steam or on other platforms and use it improve/change the game. Every aspect of the game (guns, movement, enemies, maps, graphics, sounds, etc) is subject to change. Feedback I've gotten from closed playtest has been VERY useful and I'd love to continue improving the game, but with a wider range of players now.”
