Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It is difficult to predict how long Early Access will last accurately.

However, based on our estimates, we expect to be in early access for 1 - 2 years.

We have multiple goals that we will work towards, and we also want to achieve them while still delivering a quality game at a reasonable pace. We're dedicated to completing Benthos and making it the best game possible.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our goal with Benthos is to deliver a more polished, content-rich version of the game with a plethora of new gameplay experiences.

During the Early Access phase, we plan to release major updates that introduce new content, including Biomes, Creatures, Missions, Submarine Upgrades, and Narrative Experiences.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Benthos will include co-op, multiple biomes, early missions, and an early progression system for the Submarine and Checkpoint stations. For additional details, please refer to the "About This Game" section on the Steam store page.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the price of Benthos will increase after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is essential as we bugfix and adjust gameplay to match our intended experience, ensuring players have a voice throughout development.

Passion is important during development. By showcasing early gameplay features before they are implemented in the game, we can involve players in the development experience! Even if things may break every now and then :)
