Connections are like fiber threads—tugged and tangled. Some tighten; others fray. Grades, the future, and family expectations steal her breath. Between closeness and distance, hope and avoidance, she tries to understand—and be understood.

About This Game

FIBERS is a Chinese campus & family-themed visual novel.

As class monitor Zhu Mi moves between classrooms, hallways, and the road home, her days run on rails—steady, orderly… and quietly suffocating.
She thinks her life will stay that way.

Then a series of small accidents—collisions, interruptions, unexpected encounters—send ripples through everything.

She begins to notice something unsettling: everyone around her is hiding something.

Her childhood friend, soon leaving for a competition, buries tenderness under clumsy apologies.
The quiet boy with glasses speaks little, but offers her calm, rational shelter at critical moments.
A senior she keeps running into lends a hand—his reassuring smile somehow distant, like it’s behind a thin veil.
A withdrawn transfer student fills a notebook with stories to turn insecurity into words, craving to be understood.
And a school athlete appears at night with fresh wounds—dangerous laughter, lies as natural as breathing.

This is a story about youth, distance, and choice.
Between desks, at the corner of a stairwell, on a dusk-lit field, and under an empty night sky, you’ll meet different people, hear different truths—
and ultimately weave your own ending into Fibers.

Game Overview
Fibers is a choice-driven visual novel set against a distinctly Chinese school life and family background. In seemingly ordinary interactions, your decisions gradually pull you closer to each character’s secret—and lead you to different endings.

Characters

Zhu Mi
The class monitor—responsible to a fault and determined not to burden anyone. The harder she tries to keep everything “fine,” the more she spirals into anxiety and self-doubt.

Lin Muyang
Zhu Mi’s childhood friend and a gentle competition student. Brilliant at solving problems, terrible at saying what he feels—his care shows up as restrained concern and awkward apologies, caught between dreams and bonds.

Li Ziyu
Zhu Mi’s closest friend: bright, social, and effortlessly good with people. Loves anime and girl bands, and dreams of forming a band with Zhu Mi. Looks carefree, but notices more than she lets on.

Yin Chen
A mysterious transfer student in an ill-fitting uniform, always watching from behind his bangs. He turns insecurity and self-loathing into words in his notebook—longing to be understood, yet afraid of being seen too clearly.

Gu Chuan
An athlete from a neighboring school with a dangerous, cynical smile. Scars and lies are routine; beneath the flirtatious surface may be a stubborn pride he refuses to show.

Chu Wangqing
The quiet boy with glasses in Zhu Mi’s class—steady, into programming. He keeps his distance through observation and analysis, yet shows up with the most rational support when it matters.

Shen Liuyun
A popular senior Zhu Mi’s best friend met while forming a band for the school culture festival. Helpful, reliable, always wearing a reassuring smile—though his constant readiness to help feels like a habit with a story behind it.
