What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Crazy Islands is an event-based party game where player interaction is at the heart of the experience. We are launching in Early Access because we believe the community should help shape the chaos. While the core mechanics are in place, we want to work directly with players to identify which types of events are the most fun and use that feedback to decide which new features and mechanics to prioritize. Early Access allows us to refine the game's balance and 'fun factor' based on real-world play sessions.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently anticipate Crazy Islands will remain in Early Access for approximately 3 to 6 months. This timeline may shift depending on the scope of the features and community suggestions we decide to implement during the development process.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version to feature a significantly expanded library of random events and more robust gameplay mechanics based on player suggestions. We also aim to expand hardware compatibility, including the introduction of Direct3D support. Additionally, we are exploring the implementation of modding tools to allow the community to create their own custom chaotic events. Our goal is for the final release to be a highly replayable, polished, and content-rich experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version of Crazy Islands features a fully playable core game loop with a variety of random events already implemented. Players can experience the primary 'chaotic' gameplay immediately. Please note that public multiplayer functionality is currently in active development and may be less stable than local or private play.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to moderately increase the price of the game upon its full release to reflect the addition of new content, features, and overall improvements made during the Early Access period.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community is vital to the evolution of Crazy Islands. We encourage players to join our official Discord server to suggest new event ideas, report bugs, and vote on potential upcoming features. We plan to be highly active in the Steam Discussion forums as well, as we want to ensure that the game grows in a direction that our players find most entertaining.”

About This Game

Crazy Islands is a multiplayer party game featuring round-based gameplay driven by chaotic interactions and funny, unpredictable events.

A volcano suddenly spawning on your island and launching magma into the air? No problem.
A tornado chasing players across the map? Could happen.
A random disco appearing out of nowhere? Sure, why not.
A water fight breaking out mid-round? Of course.

Absolute chaos — guaranteed.

The rules are simple: last one standing wins — at least in PvP mode.

In Co-op mode, all players work together to survive the chaos and win as a team. If one is out - game over.
