Why Early Access?

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Invokyr to remain in Early Access for approximately one year.
Throughout Early Access, we plan to release regular updates around new themes, with new monsters, events, items and features. This timeframe may change depending on the development process and what we learn from players.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our goal for the 1.0 version is to significantly expand the variety and depth of Invokyr. We plan to add new boards and themes, monsters, events, dice, cursed rules, items, upgrades.
We also plan to expand the narrative mysteries surrounding Invokyr and the Game Master, and continue improving replayability based on what we learn during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At Early Access launch, Invokyr will already offer a complete multiplayer gameplay loop for 1 to 6 players.
Players will be able to explore several themed boards, survive more than 15 monsters and 20 events, discover and use more than a dozen different dice and cursed idols, purchase upgrades and equipment, and face increasingly dangerous combinations of rules as they progress toward the ultimate Invokyr Board.
The game also includes progression between boards, a shop, environmental secrets, and a rule system designed to make each game unfold differently.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We expect to review the price for the 1.0 launch of the game, and evaluate it based on the additional content and polish added to the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback has already played an important role in the development of Invokyr through our demos and playtests, and we want that relationship to continue throughout Early Access.
We’ll actively follow player feedback through Steam discussions, Discord, playtests, surveys, reviews, and direct community discussions.
Feedback will help us improve balancing, difficulty, onboarding, replayability, and existing systems, but also identify which monsters, events, rules, dice, and unexpected multiplayer situations players enjoy the most.
The Game Master may control the board, but the community will help shape what Invokyr becomes.”
