Why Early Access?

“Retro Arcade Shop Simulator is in Early Access so we can shape the experience of building and managing your nostalgic, machine-filled shop with real player feedback. We need your help to fine-tune both the core mechanics and shop design based on community priorities, and to quickly identify and fix any bugs.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to develop the game over an approximately six-month Early Access period. That timeframe may flex depending on the volume and scope of player suggestions and feedback; our goal is to deliver a fully satisfying experience in both content and gameplay by the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We’re planning to add new arcade machines, fresh rooms, and extended decoration and theme packs. Everything will be optimized and enriched with community-suggested content. All upcoming additions will be shaped by the ideas and feedback you share.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable right now: you can place Atari cabinets, foosball tables, billiards, air hockey, and bowling lanes in your shop; greet customers and collect their fees; and prepare coffee, food, and soft-drink orders in the café. A few sound effects and animations are still being fine-tuned, and performance optimizations are ongoing.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to keep the price fixed throughout Early Access. As we release new content and major updates, we’ll consider phased price adjustments—always announcing any changes transparently in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want to collect as much player feedback as possible to make the game even more engaging. You can share suggestions and report issues directly via our official Discord channel.”

Start with a humble, dusty venue and gradually transform it into a booming, large-scale arcade business. Buy nostalgic arcade cabinets, organize your floor plan to maximize customer flow, and watch the tokens roll in. Whether you want to recreate a cozy 80s hangout spot or build a massive, multi-room gaming paradise, you have the tools to bring your retro tycoon dreams to life.

Manage a Growing Business

Growing your business takes more than plugging in a few machines. You’ll need to manage a dynamic token economy, track market prices, and take out bank loans to fund your expansions. 

Unlock up to 10 unique rooms and fill them with a variety of attractions. Offer your customers classic Air Hockey, Pinball, and Whack-A-Mole, or invest in high-end Plane Simulators, Bowling Alleys, Go-Kart tracks, and immersive 8D Cinemas. When crowds get overwhelming, hire cashiers, repairmen, and cleaners to keep your venue spotless and your machines in perfect working order.

Customize Your Neon Haven

Make the arcade truly yours with deep interior customization. Choose from dozens of wall and floor textures, add vibrant graffiti murals, and set the perfect mood with neon lighting, signs, and decorative plants. You’ll also need to keep your customers fueled by managing a cafeteria - serve burgers, pour drinks, and sell gaming magazines or CDs to maximize your daily profits.
