About This Game

Black Orchestra: Worldfront 37-54 is a project for Rising Storm 2: Vietnam that focuses on recreating the original Red Orchestra 2/Rising Storm game. Taking elements from all the games combined, the mod transforms the game into a brutal and immersive experience.

Black Orchestra takes players around the globe through major theaters of war from 1937 to 1954.

RED ORCHESTRA EXPANDED

The series’ trademark intensity returns through the addition of new content such as new weapons, vehicles, factions, and theaters that were not seen before in the Red Orchestra series.

A COMMITMENT TO ACCURACY

Progress through Early, Mid, and Late War periods with changing weapons, equipment, uniforms, and strategies. Every faction has been remodeled to allow for Rising Storm 2’s character customization. Black Orchestra’s new Period of War system ensures that each soldier can be depicted with correct equipment and uniforms for any given battle. The new Sub faction system allows for the inclusion of multiple historically accurate belligerents on maps for the first time in the series.

REALISM AND BRUTALITY

Re-experience the PTSD simulator. Black Orchestra captures the unforgiving nature of battle through hardcore damage models, detailed gore effects, enhanced death animations, and proper damage that make every engagement feel raw and impactful. Limbs can be severed by high-caliber rounds or artillery, headgear flies from headshots, and uniforms become blood-stained reminders of the cost of war.

COMMUNITY DRIVEN

Made up of different members from teams who brought you Heroes of The West (HOTW), Talvisota: Winter War (WW), and Gameplay Overhaul Mutator (GOM). The project is fueled by community feedback in order to provide players with the ultimate Red Orchestra experience.
