What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“This game features a wide variety of sponsor companies that can be combined in different ways, along with random elements that create unique playthroughs. As a result, players may discover combinations, interactions, and strategies that our development team could not fully anticipate during development.

Our goal is to create a game that remains fun, fair, and engaging regardless of which sponsor combinations players choose. To achieve that vision, we believe the game still needs additional features and, more importantly, feedback from players on those features. For this reason, we have decided to release the game in Early Access.

Please help us shape a richer, clearer, and more enjoyable experience for everyone through your feedback and support.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently plan for the Early Access period to last at least six months. This estimate takes into account both the time required to develop new features and the time needed to ensure the game remains balanced and stable after those features are introduced.

If additional features or improvements are identified that would further enhance the game, we will consider extending the Early Access period.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to introduce new sponsor companies with their own unique strategies, along with new familiars associated with those companies.

As this will greatly expand the range of possible playstyles and combinations, we will carefully reassess and adjust the overall game balance while gathering player feedback.

In addition, we will continue to improve the UI/UX and add new features as appropriate based on feedback from the community.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At the start of Early Access, the game offers dozens of hours of gameplay. Players can freely choose three out of five distinct sponsor companies, with each combination creating a unique gameplay experience.

Each sponsor company features more than 20 upgrade options called "Contracts" and at least three unique objects, all of which appear randomly from game to game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the game's price upon its full release. In addition, the price may be adjusted upward in the future as new content is added through updates.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We maintain official Discord and Bilibili accounts, where we actively gather community feedback and use it to guide development on a daily basis. Players can also submit feedback through a form accessible directly from within the game.

So far, we have conducted two Steam Playtests and released a public demo, receiving countless pieces of feedback from players. Thanks to this invaluable input, the gameplay experience has evolved dramatically since the earliest stages of development.

We look forward to continuing to hear your thoughts as we work to make the game even better.”

About This Game

One Shift. One Factory. One Impossible Deadline.

『Lazy Witch’s Factory』 is a run-based rogue-lite factory builder.

You have only a short time to build a factory, make deals with demons, and repay a ridiculous amount of debt.

No time to take it easy.

Make the most of your limited time and resources.

Spaghetti lines and stopgap fixes are allowed.

If you fail to repay your debt before the deadline, you'll...

Actually, never mind.

Contracts Solve Everything (For a While)

Mine resources. Turn them into products. Sell them to pay off your debt.

Unfortunately, that won't be nearly enough. Make contracts with demons.

Short on raw materials? Rewrite the recipe.

Got too much iron ore? Transform it into a gem.

Short on cash? Just make some.

When your shift ends, everything resets. Except what you learned.

With each run, you'll get better at choosing the right contracts for the situation and building smarter synergies.

Middle management in hell is hell itself.

You play as Momoko, who signed up for “passive income” and ended up buried in debt.

Your workers are generally unmotivated and completely honest about their desires.

Whether they can be made to work properly depends entirely on how you manage them.

  • Salamanders seem to think blacksmithing is part of a workout routine.

  • Slimes enjoy the pain produced by distillation a little too much, and would rather make it last longer.

Eternal Life, Infinite Overtime

In the beginning, eternal life was the punishment cast upon sinners.

The manager Gehenna thought:

“Wonderful. This solves the overtime problem.”

You were cast down into a truly hellish work environment.

Still, not every demon in Hell wants to make your life worse.

Bored by immortality, the arch-demons now offer their help with your factory operations, each in their own highly questionable way.

  • Leviathan, a researcher, can greatly improve productivity through experimentation. As a side effect, Hell's entire water supply becomes contaminated.

  • Mammon, head of the infernal bank, can solve your cash-flow problems. Don't ask where the money came from.

Welcome to hell. Please clock in.
