Why Early Access?

“PetsParty is developed by a solo developer. Early Access allows me to release the game once it’s already fun and playable, without waiting forever to make everything “perfect.” Real player feedback is worth more than anything I could imagine on my own — I want the community to play, report bugs, suggest ideas, and help me prioritize what to add first.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I estimate between 6 and 12 months, although since this is a solo project, development speed may vary. I prefer being honest about that rather than giving a date I can’t guarantee. What I can guarantee is that I will continue developing and improving the game actively.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The current version is fully playable, but I plan to add much more before the official release:

• More playable pets and customization options
• New game modes beyond Race and Battle
• More official maps and expanded Steam Workshop support
• Improvements to the progression and unlock system
• More interactive items and weapons in the stages
• More polished animations and visual effects
• General UI, audio, and UX improvements
• Fixes based on community feedback

The full version will be larger, more polished, and more varied. What’s available in Early Access represents the core experience as I envisioned it — everything else builds on top of that foundation.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“PetsParty already has a solid and fully playable base. You can:

✅ Play online with friends via Steam (more than 10 players)
✅ Play locally with keyboard and controllers
✅ Compete in Race and Battle modes
✅ Choose and customize your pet
✅ Create and share maps with the built‑in editor
✅ Download maps from Steam Workshop

PetsParty is an exclusively multiplayer game — you need at least one friend (local or online) to play. Online multiplayer is relatively stable. Since this is a solo project, there may be minor bugs and some features still in development, but the game is fully enjoyable in its current state.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to slightly increase the price once the game leaves Early Access, as more content is added and the game becomes more polished. Buying during Early Access is the best way to support the project from the beginning and get it at the lowest price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“As a solo developer, player feedback is especially valuable — there’s no big team making decisions, so every opinion goes directly to the person building the game.

• I’ll be active in the Steam forums reading suggestions and reports
• I’ll publish update notes explaining what changed and why
• Player feedback will directly influence what I add first

If you play during Early Access, you’re directly helping shape what the final game will become. For a solo project, that means a lot.”
