FIGHT LIKE HELL is a fast-paced FPS where relentless gunplay, fast weapon switching, and good strategy turn every fight into pure (un)controlled chaos. You are the Destroyer, a human soldier now wielding Hell’s abandoned technology after the Devil's defeat in Hell.

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“FIGHT LIKE HELL is an indie game developed by one developer with no previous game development experience. Releasing this Early Access version of the game helps improve the base game and the multiplayer system. Receiving feedback from an early player base will really help in bringing this game to a proper release with more content and engaging mechanics.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“FIGHT LIKE HELL will be in Early Access for at least 6 months until ca. June 2026.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is necessary to test the gameclient and the stability of the game's back-end, which is also a product built in-house and needs extensive testing before any real promises can be made to the community in terms of what it can do.

FIGHT LIKE HELL is in Alpha release at the moment. When the official Beta releases, more game modes are planned to be made available - specifically the 1 vs 2 mode (asymmetrical multiplayer) and the classic team deathmatch. The Beta version will also open up character customization and is expected to contain more weapons and equipment than is presently available.

After leaving the Beta stage, the official 1.0 version is planned to have at least 2 full levels of Campaign Mode (single player) for players to play offline. The game has a solid storyboarded concept, but this is not ready yet for the Alpha/Beta releases due to funding and time constraints.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“FIGHT LIKE HELL is in Alpha release. Players can queue for public/private 1 vs 1 matches.

Public matches: lobbies are hosted on FIGHT LIKE HELL's back-end called Hell.Net. Opponents are matched on a FIFO (First In First Out) basis.

Private matches: lobbies are also hosted on Hell.Net, but these lobbies require a Lobby Code from the host in order to join. This is exactly the same system as used in other games like Among Us. Players can create a private lobby to play against specific players and friends.

Server availability is very minimal, as the game is self-funded by the developer for the time being, and servers are presently only available in Europe. While players from all places should be able to play the game, the connection latency might be high for players outside of the EU until more servers have been added to the back-end.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The pricing of the game will most likely not change after the initial release. The game is intended to be free to play and something drastic has to happen in the future for the developer to defer from that.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have a Discord Server that our Early Access players can join where you can follow the latest progress of the game, report bugs and track existing issues, or talk to the developer about contributing work and ideas to the game. While support is admittedly minimalist at the moment, it is an honest effort to engage with the community as early, directly and efficiently as possible.”

About This Game

Introduction

Hell has been destroyed, but a new Hell awaits, and what's left behind is far worse than any Slayer or evil of biblical proportions.

Enter arenas with aggressive and unforgiving combat which encourage constant motion and pressure. Set up deadly weapon switching combos for maximum damage per second, use your lighthook to quickly move around the map, or deploy stealth to escape a brush with death.

Note: FIGHT LIKE HELL contains only comical violence and contains no blood, gore or offensive graphical depictions of any kind.

Current Features

  • Public Matchmaking
Random matchmaking against new or unknown players.

  • Private Matchmaking
Private matchmaking against your friends and their friends with a simple Lobby Code.

  • Dedicated Backend
FIGHT LIKE HELL has a dedicated back-end where players queue for games.

Players log in to Steam but all matches are played on dedicated servers (for both public and private matches).

At the moment all FIGHT HELL HELL matches are hosted in the Europe region. As development continues more servers and regions will be made available.

  • 1 vs 1 Multiplayer Mode
Engage in glorious one on one combat against the community or your friends.

  • 2 x Weapons
Crush your enemies with simple but deadly accuracy -- or -- set up fast weapon switching combo's for maximum damage per second.

  • 2 x Player Equipment
Use your Lighthook to grapple around the map quickly or use your Stealth to gain a tactical advantage over an aggressive enemy.
