ABOUT THIS GAME

SEARCH FOR YOUR MISSING BROTHER

Your younger brother, Michael Mercer, travelled into the Australian Outback investigating rumours of a forgotten military installation hidden beyond the edge of the map.

He never returned.

Weeks later, an emergency transmission was received containing a single set of coordinates.

Determined to bring Michael home, you follow his trail into one of the most isolated places on Earth. Your journey ends at the gates of a military compound that officially does not exist.

The entrance is still guarded.

The intercom still answers.

Someone inside still expects authorised personnel.

To find Michael, you must investigate the abandoned exclusion zone, uncover hidden entrances beneath the desert and piece together a mystery that has remained buried for decades.

SURVIVAL HORROR ABOVE AND BELOW

X300 is a first-person psychological survival horror set across two connected worlds.

Above ground, explore isolated regions of the Australian Outback where heat, thirst, darkness, distance and hostile wildlife turn every expedition into a survival decision.

Below ground, descend into a forgotten Cold War facility where analogue machinery still operates, personnel continue following decades-old orders and an unseen intelligence quietly controls your path.

The surface belongs to the Ash Front.

The underground belongs to the Facility.

Neither intends to let you pass unnoticed.

EXPLORE THE EXCLUSION ZONE

Michael’s trail leads through abandoned survey camps, remote homesteads, derelict railway sidings, weather stations, military supply depots and forgotten infrastructure scattered across the desert.

Navigate using maps, coordinates and a compass. Search buildings, recover documents and interpret the evidence left behind. Each region conceals another part of Michael’s investigation and another possible route into the Facility.

Progress depends on what you discover. Restore abandoned machinery, follow survey records, solve environmental puzzles and uncover the way forward.

SURVIVE THE ASH FRONT

A living wall of black ash stalks the horizon.

The Ash Front is not simply a storm or a boundary around the world. It watches, moves and changes course with intent. It can block your destination, drive you from familiar ground or force you toward places you were trying to avoid.

Watch the horizon. Plan your route. Find shelter before the black snow begins to fall.

In X300, danger does not begin when a creature appears. Exposure itself is part of the horror.

DESCEND BENEATH THE DESERT

Hidden beneath the Outback lies a vast military installation constructed during Australia’s nuclear era.

The Facility was designed as a self-contained underground town supporting classified research during the 1950s. Officially, it was abandoned.

Unofficially, its systems never stopped operating.

Restore power, operate Cold War machinery, decipher military procedures and navigate an institution that still divides people according to rank, department and authority.

Every office, document and forgotten workstation contains another fragment of what happened and another clue to what became of Michael.

EARN AUTHORITY

Inside the Facility, access is determined by authority.

Recover medals, credentials and symbols of rank to enter restricted areas, operate protected systems and convince Facility personnel that you belong there.

A medal is more than a collectible. To the people and systems below ground, it may be the difference between cooperation, suspicion and removal.

FACE ALTERED AUSTRALIAN WILDLIFE

The exclusion zone is inhabited by creatures shaped by decades of isolation and exposure.

Some defend their territory. Some hunt. Others have become something the official records refuse to acknowledge.

Weapons and supplies are limited. Observation, preparation and knowing when to retreat may keep you alive longer than confrontation.

THE FACILITY IS WATCHING

The Facility does more than track your progress.

It records how you behave.

Throughout your investigation, it quietly observes how you respond to uncertainty, authority, danger and isolation. The decisions you make and the way you make them contribute to a classified psychological profile.

At the end of your journey, you will receive a personalised intelligence dossier describing the person the Facility believes you became.

The investigation leaves a record.

So will you.
