What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Chrome Carnage is a vehicle combat game, with both arcade campaigns and multiplayer game modes, both benefit directly from real player feedback. Balancing weapons, vehicles, and maps is something that can't be done in isolation — Early Access lets us tune the game with an actual player base rather than guessing.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Approximately 6 months. The campaign content needs to be written and created but the multiplayer and actual gameplay still needs to be tuned while we do this.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to include additional content to expand on the initial demo, Early Access launches with the core arcade and multiplayer experiences and a single map — the foundation is solid, and we plan to add the additional content for the game throughout EA as it is completed”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core game is playable and stable. Players can host and join multiplayer lobbies via Steam, select vehicles, and compete in vehicle combat arenas. AI opponents, weapons, and basic progression are implemented. Some content areas — additional maps, modes, and cosmetics — are still in development.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, we don't plan to change the price after the EA period. ”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Directly. There's a Discord server, where players can report bugs, suggest features, and vote on what gets prioritised. Patch notes will be transparent about what changed and why. Community feedback on balance, maps, and game modes will directly shape the roadmap.”

About This Game

Chrome Carnage is a high-octane vehicle combat game set in a near-future world where corporations have quietly replaced governments and the line between business and crime was erased a long time ago. Strap into an arsenal of weaponised vehicles and tear through brutal multiplayer arenas — or dive into a story-driven campaign where ten corporate criminals are offered something they can't refuse.

MULTIPLAYER MAYHEM

Challenge your friends or dive into public lobbies and compete in fast-paced vehicular combat across a growing roster of arenas. Host your own lobby, invite friends via Steam, or jump into an existing session with a join code. Every match is chaos — rockets, machine guns, and boost-ramming all have a place in your loadout. Learn the maps, master your vehicle, and become the last one rolling.

THE CAMPAIGN — AN OFFER YOU CAN'T REFUSE

The world has changed. Five super-corporations run everything — the cities, the courts, the contracts, and the consequences. And somewhere above all of them, behind a mask nobody has seen behind, someone is pulling strings that reach further than any corporation's boardroom.

Ten criminals. Each one wanted, burned, or buried by the system they used to serve. Each one contacted with a personalised offer — a prize so precisely tailored to what they want most that refusing it isn't really an option.

The deal is simple: compete in a sanctioned deathmatch circuit organised by the five corporations and the figure behind the mask. Survive the stages. Win the prize.

What the prize is, who the masked figure really is, and why the five most powerful entities in the world are working together to put ten criminals in the same arena — that's what you'll uncover as you play.

Each character's campaign runs across multiple stages with its own story, its own enemies, and its own version of the truth. No single driver sees the whole picture. To understand what's really happening, you'll need to play them all.

TEN CHARACTERS. TEN REASONS TO FIGHT.

Every driver brings a different vehicle, a different playstyle, and a different reason for being behind the wheel. Work through multi-stage campaigns that escalate in intensity as the story tightens — because the deeper you get, the more it becomes clear that this tournament isn't just a game.

VEHICLES BUILT FOR DESTRUCTION

Every vehicle in Chrome Carnage handles differently — some built for raw speed, others for armour and impact, and some designed around a specific weapon system. Tune your approach to the arena and your opponents. There's no one-size-fits-all when the competition is this fierce.

ARENAS THAT FIGHT BACK

Urban environments with tight corridors punish reckless drivers. Open arenas reward aggression. Multi-level layouts create opportunities for ambushes and escapes that flat maps never could. Know the terrain — it's as much a weapon as anything mounted on your hood.

EARLY ACCESS — BUILT WITH THE COMMUNITY

Chrome Carnage launches into Early Access with the full multiplayer experience and the foundations of the campaign. Over the next six months, new maps, vehicles, characters, and story content will be added — shaped directly by player feedback. Jump in now at the ground floor and join the conversation on Discord.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

This game is a love letter to Twisted Metal, so it is a vehicular combat games; so there is violence however it appears between vehicles and is not depicting blood or acts of vioence on the human body
