What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We're a team of just two people, and President Simulator has been our passion project from day one. From the very beginning, we've been building it alongside players: your survey answers and demo feedback have already shaped much of what the game is today. Early Access lets us keep doing exactly that, hear what you love (and what frustrates you), and shape President Simulator into the experience you actually want to play.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We're aiming for around 6 to 9 months. That gives us time to add new content at a steady pace and genuinely listen to your feedback, without rushing things or cutting corners. If we need a bit more time to get something right, we'll always let you know.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The 1.0 release will take your presidency even further. We already have plenty of ideas we're excited about, like live interviews, tough moral dilemmas with no easy way out, and managing your cabinet ministers. But nothing is set in stone: we'll discuss these ideas with the community, listen to your own suggestions, and hold regular votes so you can help decide which features come next. Along the way, we'll keep refining progression and balance based on how you play, so the final game will carry your fingerprints all over it.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“There's already plenty to sink your teeth into. You can hold press conferences, pass laws, react to national crises, work to reduce the debt, and improve the lives of everyday Americans. You can even renovate the White House. We've spent a lot of time playtesting to make this foundation solid and enjoyable, and everything we add from here will build on it.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, we plan to slightly raise the price at 1.0 to reflect all the new content. Buying now directly supports two developers working on their dream project, and it's also our way of saying thank you to the players who believed in us early and helped shape the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have an active Discord where we read every bug report and suggestion, and we'll be keeping a close eye on the Steam discussions too. As a two-person team, we don't have layers between us and our players. When you talk to us, you're talking directly to the people making the game. Come say hi, tell us what you think, and help us build the best President Simulator possible!”

About This Game

Welcome to the Oval Office. Settle in, put your feet on the desk, and get ready to ruin the country... or save it by accident.

In this satirical political simulator, competence is optional, but chaos is guaranteed. You have the power, the pen, and above all, the Big Red Button. What could possibly go wrong?

On your agenda:

  • Extreme Legislator: Sign, stamp, or bin totally wacky decrees. Legalize socks with sandals? Why not. Consequences are a problem for later.

  • Crisis Management by Guesswork: You don't need to actually understand an issue to manage it.

  • Double-Speak 2.0: Shine during press conferences. When a journalist asks "Why?", answer with an inspiring speech that means absolutely nothing.

  • Total Tactile Immersion: It's your office. Throw decrees, shove your advisors. You are the President, nobody’s going to stop you.

  • The Red Button: It’s there. It’s glowing. It’s tempting. Press it. Go on. Just to see what happens.

  • From Ruins to Glory: Cracked walls, cobwebs, planks on the windows... your predecessor left quite a mess. Clean it up and restore the Oval Office to its former glory. You've earned it.

  • Cabinet of "Yes-Men": Recruit advisors who will execute your most absurd decisions. They are here to serve, not to think.

  • Political Roulette: Watch your actions succeed (or fail miserably). Politics is just like a casino, after all.

  • The Art of Balance (or lack thereof): Going all-in on the military won't save you when the economy collapses. Try to juggle, or face the consequences.

  • Gotcha Interviews: Journalists have memories like elephants. They will grill you on your past actions: let's hope you remember what you signed this morning, because you'll have to justify it live.

  • The Power Meter: Gain popularity to unlock more power. The more the people love you, the more you can get away with... without (too many) consequences.
