About This Game

The last transmission was at 02:17 AM.

Weeks ago, a remote forest lookout stopped answering. Its keeper disappeared. The forest service sends you to check the equipment and restore radio contact. Along the way, you find the notes and recordings he left behind.

02:17 AM is an atmospheric mystery in first person. Follow the forest trail, search an abandoned cabin and climb the old lookout. Read the keeper's journal and listen to his accounts of lights above the ridge, bursts of radio interference and a time that keeps returning.

Explore the forest. Restore the signal.

  • Search the forest, cabin and lookout for the objects and clues left behind.
  • Find the battery, get the generator running and bring the radio back to life.
  • Piece together the keeper's story through notes, recordings and details in the environment.
  • Take your time: there is no combat, no enemies and no jump scares.

The keeper's notes leave room for more than one explanation. Draw your own conclusions.
