Site: Frostfall is a multiplayer hardcore exploration shooter developed by NextEpoch Studio.

You can take on the role of Class-D personnel, Foundation researchers and armed forces, members of the Green Sparrow Foundation, and more as you struggle against the unknown! Your enemy may be a friend, an “anomaly” responsible for the facility’s containment breach, or even someone else entirely. You might become a “star of the Foundation” and suppress a large-scale uprising led by Class-D personnel, or lend your own strength to the rebellion instead! Everything you do is your choice. This game has no ultimate objective; everything is up to you.

This game uses a community-operated server model. The developers provide only technical support, a public server list, and essential game features. Server owners are permitted to make any reasonable modifications to their servers.

This game is based on the universe of the SCP Foundation, including its Chinese Branch. In a world where the laws of nature are rapidly collapsing, the SCP Foundation is humanity’s last line of defense. The Foundation protects humankind from horrors emerging out of the darkness and from those who wield powers beyond mortal understanding. The Foundation makes the world safer. The Foundation is the keeper of miracles and the guardian of dreams. The world endures only because the SCP Foundation exists.

Note: The Foundation, its anomalies, and all related elements are entirely fictional.

In this game, you can play as the following roles:

• Class-D Personnel: Also known as expendable personnel, they are the most “important” part of Site-CN-12, the largest Class-D holding facility operated by the Foundation’s Chinese Branch. They also make up the majority of the facility’s population. Before entering the Foundation, all Class-D personnel received Class-B amnestics, erasing their past experiences, social relationships, personal preferences, and aversions to eliminate the risk of rebellion and unnecessary emotional attachment. However, an anomalous storm sweeping across the land of China has returned those memories to their minds.

• Researchers: Chosen from among the brightest and most accomplished scientists in the world, Foundation researchers specialize in every imaginable field, all in pursuit of explaining the unexplainable. Amid this uprising, researchers lacking physical strength must rely on what they do best to survive: their intelligence.

• Facility Security Personnel: An essential armed force within Site-CN-12. Their primary duties include protecting research personnel and critical information, eliminating threats, and maintaining prison security. In this moment of crisis, security personnel will step forward to defend the facility and suppress the uprising!

• Mobile Task Forces: The elite of the Foundation’s elite. MTFs consist of specialists from a wide range of fields and are deployed to handle the most difficult, dangerous, absurd, and terrifying assignments within their areas of responsibility, usually problems beyond the capabilities of ordinary agents and researchers. In this desperate and perilous uprising, the Mobile Task Forces represent the Foundation’s absolute strength.

• “Nest Protectors”: “Population must be controlled, resources must be conserved, and only then can the world endure.” The Nest Protectors are armed combatants of the Green Sparrow Foundation who remain fiercely loyal to this belief. They will raid the recently discovered major Foundation facility known as Site-CN-12, punishing the “anti-anomalous organization” that obstructs humanity’s progress while seizing additional resources to create more “Mature Bird” test subjects capable of effectively controlling the population.

You may also disregard the role you have been given and become a pure explorer instead. Search for the truth behind the uprising hidden beneath the vast facility, admire its monumental architecture, or even loot everything you can find... Anything is possible.
