Definitions
1. "Site: Frostfall", "SF", "Game", "Software" -– Refers to the pre-release game Site: Frostfall, developed by NextEpoch, with Steam store app ID 3629270.
2. "NextEpoch", "We" –- Refers to the official development studio and developers of the Game.
3. "Player" –- Any Steam user who owns and plays the Game.
4. "Community Server" –- The community server binaries officially distributed by NextEpoch.
5. "CC 4.0" –- Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International Public License.
Preamble
By installing and using the Software in any form or manner, you acknowledge full acceptance of this End User License Agreement (EULA) and agree to be bound by its terms.
（a）Please read this Agreement carefully before completing the installation process and using the Software. This Agreement grants you a license to use the Software and contains warranty disclaimers and liability limitation clauses.
（b）All rights granted to Players are limited licenses, not transfers of ownership. We reserve the right to revoke your account access or issue account bans at any time.
（c）You may only use the Software in strict compliance with the terms herein.
（d）This EULA is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind, and We reserve the right to implement urgent revisions to this Agreement at any time.
（e）In compliance with the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, We do not provide official services to players located in mainland China. Players based in mainland China may use the special regional version provided by Us to access the Game.
License Grant
1.You may install the Game only after reading this EULA for Site: Frostfall and confirming your computer hardware meets or exceeds the minimum system requirements published by Us.
2. Portions of the Software’s assets are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International Public License (CC BY-SA 4.0). For all content subject to CC 4.0 licensing terms, We grant you permission to view and modify such content freely.
The majority of Our assets are proprietary protected content. You are strictly prohibited from modifying any protected proprietary assets.
3. You are granted access to and use of the Services (including all in-game content) solely for personal entertainment through the Game’s intended features.
4. You hold the right to create streaming content based on the Game, including gameplay footage, edited video derivatives, and image production. We retain the right to remove, edit, or take down any of your published content at Our sole discretion.
Prohibited Activities
1. Disrupting game operation or modifying core game files
2. Reverse engineering the Software or circumventing anti-cheat systems
3. Developing, distributing, advertising, or utilizing cheat programs
4. Exploiting game bugs or unintended vulnerabilities
5. Abusing in-game systems in violation of the Steam Subscriber Agreement and local applicable laws
6. Publishing the following categories of speech and content:
a. Content that violates or incites violations of applicable laws, or may result in civil liability
b. Fraudulent, false, misleading, or deceptive content, including maliciously provocative posts
c. Defamatory, obscene, pornographic, vulgar, or offensive content
d. Content promoting discrimination, prejudice, racism, hatred, harassment, or harm targeting any individual or group
e. Violent, bullying, threatening, or disruptive content that harms the Game, its applications, players, or community; content glorifying violence or terrorism; content containing threats or disrespect toward any individual or entity
f. Content promoting illegal or harmful activities or controlled substances
g. Destructive or harmful speech
7. Impersonating staff members of NextEpoch
8. Distributing or disclosing global administrator Steam accounts, IP addresses, or related confidential information
9. Forging, hosting, or operating unauthorized proxy central servers
10. Intercepting or tampering with data transmitted to and from the official central servers
11. Forging authentication tokens or credentials
Remedies for Violations
If you violate any of the Prohibited Activities listed above, We may issue account bans and permanently revoke your license to use the Software.
Termination of Agreement
Uninstalling the Software and removing it from your Steam Library constitutes full termination of this Agreement.
All licenses granted herein shall be immediately revoked upon termination. Any penalties imposed prior to termination shall remain fully enforceable.
Governing Law
Unless otherwise explicitly stated, all terms of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
