Why Early Access?

“I wish to get as much feedback and data as possible from players to make Steel Judgment the best game it can be, and create an experience that resonates with its audience as much as possible while remaining true to my vision. Early access will allow me to gather opinions and suggestions on various design choices to ensure that the game is going in the right direction from an early stage.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game will stay in early access until its fourth and final zone is complete, and players are able to complete a full run from start to finish. I estimate this will take roughly 2 years for me to finish after Early Access begins.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to add more weapons, upgrade items, enemy types, boss fights, and areas as Early Access continues. I also hope to continue updating the game after its full version is out.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Steel Judgment's Early Access version includes its first 2 zones out of the 4 planned. This includes all of the features shown in the "About this game" section below. More specifically, there are 8 weapons, 8 enemy types, 3 mini-bosses, 3 zone boss and over 30 upgrade items in the game currently.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game's price will increase with every completed zone, as there would be more content present in it.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I am active on various channels such as Discord, the Steam community hub, and the other social media platforms linked on the store page. I will take all feedback into consideration and make use of it to improve the game as much as possible.”
