Why Early Access?

“MARKSMAN VR is being developed by a small independent team, and Early Access allows us to refine the game with real player feedback while continuing to expand its content. Because MARKSMAN VR is a precision-focused VR shooter, fine-tuning gameplay, performance, weapon handling, enemy behavior, and immersiveness is critical.

Early Access gives us the opportunity to iterate quickly, improve balance, polish systems, and shape the full version together with the community.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect MARKSMAN VR to remain in Early Access for approximately 3-4 months.
This timeframe allows us to add the remaining missions, weapons, scopes, features, and improvements planned for the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of MARKSMAN VR is planned to offer a significantly expanded experience. We intend to add 8-9 new unique levels with alternative versions (2 alternatives per level), new missions, introduce new sniper rifles and weapon upgrades, more scopes and attachments, and general polish, performance improvements, and bug fixes.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access build is fully playable and stable. It features the complete set of core mechanics, including functional VR weapon handling, satisfying enemy encounters, and smooth/teleport locomotion options. The build contains 7 unique levels with 2 alternative versions each, immersive sequences, and the finalized visual aesthetic.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes.
MARKSMAN VR will launch in Early Access at a lower price, and the price will increase once the game reaches full release. Players who purchase the Early Access version will receive all future updates at no additional cost.”
