RPG CHESS - A TURN-BASED RPG, EXCEPT IT'S ALSO CHESS

In this game, every chess move can trigger a battle. RPG Chess reimagines chess as a turn-based strategy game with RPG combat, where pieces fight instead of being captured and teams are built through Kings, classes and abilities.

FEATURES

• Chess Gameplay with an RPG Twist  
  Every attack initiates a battle! Instead of capturing pieces, you enter automated 1v1 combat sequences. The outcome depends on piece stats, elemental matchup, and available abilities.

• Abilities and Items

  Each class has a dedicated element and special ability. Abilities are not always available right away, some unlock only when their in-match conditions are met. Items grant various passive effects, adding another layer of team-building and match planning.

• Build Your Team

  Create your team of unique pieces in the Team Builder, and use your collection of unit classes and items to shape your strategy. Different class combinations and item loadouts create distinct playstyles. Additionally, the class and item you put on your King affect the entire team!

• King’s Tower

  King’s Tower is a floor-by-floor roguelite mode with randomized match setups and changing board layouts. After each game, choose one defeated piece to recruit to your team, or pick one of three items to strengthen your run. Each run includes global modifiers that affect both players equally, creating varied tactical conditions.

• Single-Player and Multiplayer Modes

  Play against AI in quick matches or challenge other players online or locally. Test different builds and team compositions, and draft the perfect set of pieces to fight for you!
