What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Russian Punk 2007: Quantum Nostalgia is being developed by a solo developer. Early Access allows the game to grow with community feedback while new chapters, enemies, mechanics, locations, and story content are added throughout development.
The goal is to use player feedback to improve balance, gameplay feel, progression systems, and overall polish over time.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game is expected to remain in Early Access for around 2 years while additional content, chapters, mechanics, and polish are added over time.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to include 3 story chapters, expanded locations, new enemies, additional abilities and weapons, and further improvements to gameplay and polish.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version contains the prologue and the first chapter of the game. ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the price of the game will gradually increase as the project evolves.
During Early Access, the game is offered at a lower price because it contains a limited amount of content. As new chapters, mechanics, and improvements are added, the price will be adjusted to reflect the growing scope and quality of the game.
After leaving Early Access, the final price may be higher than the initial”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will involve the community through Steam feedback and discussions, using player input to improve gameplay, fix issues, while maintaining the core vision of the game.”

About This Game

Step into an alternate version of Russia in 2007-a collapsing reality trapped in a time loop.

Explore ever-changing locations, battle surreal enemies, recover erased memories, and return to the ARCHIVE before the cycle consumes everything you have found.

STEP INTO A CHANGING 2007

Explore post-Soviet garages, factories, courtyards, apartments, and other fragments of a broken reality.

Each new cycle can alter routes, anomalies, infected areas, encounters, and opportunities. A passage blocked during one cycle may become your way forward in the next.

DEATH IS NOT THE END

When a cycle ends, you return to the ARCHIVE-a place beyond normal space and time.

Bring back recovered memories and Memory Shards, restore forgotten abilities, prepare your equipment, and enter the next cycle stronger than before.

DESTROY YOUR ENEMIES

Blast away with shotguns, use anything you can get your hands on, and carve a path through hordes of frenzied enemies.

BEER HEALS EVERYTHING

Drink beer, restore your health, and keep fighting. It may not be medically accurate, but this is 2007.

SLAM ENEMIES INTO WALLS

Use powerful kicks to throw enemies off balance, send them crashing into walls, and create some breathing room when you are surrounded.

TURN A SCREWDRIVER INTO A WEAPON

Recover abilities erased during previous cycles. Unlock new attacks, throw your granddad’s rusty screwdriver at enemies, call it back to your hand, and gradually transform an ordinary tool into a deadly anomaly-powered weapon.

HOW DID IT COME TO THIS?

You are Igor, an ordinary factory worker living an ordinary life.

Then, one night, a bizarre forty-year-old emo femboy breaks into your apartment. He introduces himself as an anomaly hunter and claims that you are the chosen one capable of stopping the coming apocalypse.

According to him, Planet Nibiru is about to crash into Earth and wipe out humanity.

To prevent the catastrophe, you must travel to an alternate version of Russia in 2007. Hidden somewhere within this broken reality are ancient artifacts capable of stopping the end of the world.

It sounds completely insane.

The problem is... he is telling the truth.

Armed with your granddad’s rusty screwdriver and anything else you can find along the way, fight your way through hostile inhabitants, uncover the secrets of a collapsing reality, and try to save a world that has already begun falling apart.
