About This Game

Grab a controller. Pick a robot. One shot, then reload - make it count.

Hking's Block Arena is a fast, readable party shooter for 2 to 12 players. Everyone is a chunky cube robot on one grid of crates, cases and lanes: dodge, line up a shot, duck behind cover while you reload, and laugh when your friend walks straight into a laser gate.

Six modes

• Free-for-All - every robot for itself. First to the target wins.

• Team Deathmatch - two teams, one scoreboard. Pick your team's colour from 18.

• Capture the Flag - grab their flag, run it home while yours is safe. Carriers can't shoot, so guard them.

• King of the Hill - hold the glowing square to score. Every 30 seconds it moves.

• Juggernaut - the first KO makes you a horned giant: four hits to stop, it heals, it fires twice as fast. Only the Juggernaut scores. Take it down and it's you.

• Gun Game - climb eight weapons, from the minigun through the railgun, flamethrower and grenade launcher to the last one: the wrench.

Couch first

Up to 8 players on one screen: any mix of gamepads and keyboards - two players can share one keyboard. Plug a pad in mid-game and it just works. Bots (Easy, Normal or Hard) fill the empty seats and play every mode properly: they take the flag, hold the hill, hunt the Juggernaut.



Online with friends

Host a Steam lobby - public, friends only or invite only, with an optional password - or play over your local network. Mix couch and online: four on your sofa against three at a friend's place, with bots for the rest. Dropped out? Rejoin into the same seat. Windows and Mac players play together.

Power-ups (if you want them)

Turn on power pads and fight over rocket launchers, death rays, miniguns, invisible mines, shields and speed boosts - or pick exactly which ones show up. Friendly fire is there for teams who like chaos.

Gun Game: eight weapons, one ladder

Every KO moves you up. Four weapons only exist here: a railgun that crosses the arena in a blink, a flamethrower that burns everything in reach, a grenade launcher that lobs over walls - and the wrench. Finish with it to win. Blow yourself up and you drop a level.

13 arenas in 7 venues

A loading dock, a foundry, a rooftop, a scrapyard, an arcade, a harbour - and the Warp Lab, with portals that throw robots (and shots) across the map, conveyor belts and laser gates.

Ten robots, 31 achievements

Start with the Classic and Treads, then unlock eight more with the Bolts you earn by playing: a racer, a chef, a knight, a pirate, a ninja, an astronaut, a mech and royalty. Every player picks their own colour. Then chase 31 achievements - Giant Slayer, Tank Mode, Trick Shot, Extra Crispy...
