Why Early Access?

“We are a small indie team so community feedback is critical, especially from the Steam community. We are making a hybrid that is blending a bullet-heaven roguelite with Hand of Fate's storytelling and deckbuilding strategy. This is perfect for the EA community, as they are very open to hybrid designs, understand the sub-genres, and want to see innovation. We have a deep game already, and Early Access will help us perfect the balance of immersion, strategic challenge and the rhythm and flow of bullet-heaven action. ”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We’re currently planning an Early Access period of around 12 months, though we’ll take the time needed to deliver the experience we believe the game deserves. ”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our goal is for the full release to include more heroes, cards, enemies, encounters, progression systems, game modes, and narrative content. Throughout Early Access, we’ll continue expanding and refining the game based on community feedback. ”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Hand of Fate: Hordes has been shaped by multiple playtests and currently offers a polished, fully playable core experience with plenty of replayability.

Early Access is just the beginning of the journey. While the game already provides a polished foundation, we plan to continue expanding it alongside our community with additional balancing, heroes, progression systems, content, and features.
