Why Early Access?

“We are launching PAO PAO in Early Access to involve players directly in the development process.

PAO PAO combines restaurant management with exploration, farming, fishing, customization and cooperative play. Player feedback will help us identify where the existing systems, progression and balance can be improved and which parts of the current experience would benefit most from further development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect PAO PAO to remain in Early Access for roughly 6 to 12 months. This is an approximate estimate and may change depending on development progress and player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“During Early Access we plan to expand and refine both the life simulation and restaurant management aspects of PAO PAO.

Our current plans include expanding character progression, adding more customization options and developing additional areas and activities. We also plan to add more depth to systems such as cooking, customer service, fishing and gardening.

We would also like to expand town progression, NPC interactions and seasonal activities. These are our current development plans and they may change based on player feedback and development priorities.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of PAO PAO is playable solo or in co-op with up to four players.

Players can run and develop a restaurant, cook dishes and serve customers. Outside the restaurant they can explore the town, grow crops, fish, gather resources and interact with NPCs.

The current version also includes character and location customization, progression systems and activities outside the restaurant. The main gameplay loop and core systems are already playable while content variety, balance and progression depth continue to be refined.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We do not currently plan to change the price when PAO PAO leaves Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to collect player feedback through the Steam Community Hub, our community platforms and in-game feedback tools.

Player feedback and gameplay data will help us identify issues with balance, progression and individual mechanics. Bug reports and suggestions will also help us prioritize fixes and improvements.

We plan to communicate major updates and changes through Steam throughout Early Access so players can follow the development of PAO PAO and share their feedback.”
