Why Early Access?

“Sub Rosa is an online multiplayer FPS with a focus on orchestrating deals and coordinating a team of players to increase wealth and status in the game. This requires a great deal of iteration and testing with how a growing numbers of players understand and react to the possibilities laid out before them in Sub Rosa. Early Access gives an opportunity to tinker with many facets of the game and receive feedback on those changes in an attempt to better the experience for everyone.”

“Sub Rosa is currently in alpha and in a 'hidden' Early Access phase to limit the player count as changes are made for testing with a small community.”

Welcome to Sub Rosa: Alpha 33, we are excited to share a number of changes in the gameplay mechanics including the new grab feature, updated lighting to add to the dynamic look of the game. There are a lot of fun additions to the city to explore as well as fixes to improve upon the gameplay.

New car models/physics:
the models are a first pass, we will add more cars, detail, and interactivity in future updates

Limo mission changes:
limo is no longer a limo (now a town car)
chase car starts in a random location
chase car doesn't exit city

round mode has 60 seconds of pre-game, time accelerates if all players are in a car

added hatchback (front wheel drive)

fixed floating items bug

fixed blinking menus in base

fixed players not ready in eliminator mode (game will start in 30 seconds once 3 players are ready)

About This Game

Sub Rosa is a multiplayer first-person shooter about tense deals, double-crosses, and the occasional high-speed car chase. The game is currently in an alpha testing stage prior to public Early Access and is not widely available for purchase. Please follow @SubRosaGame on Twitter for news as it develops.

Multiple corporations vie for money and power by taking control of different colored disks through clean trades or bloody acquisitions. Both cash and disks are immensely valuable and allow players to purchase guns, cars, equipment, and even stock in their own company’s success from day to day. Smooth transactions and smart business practices with others can eventually lead to riches while a quick trigger and a steady aim can get you there faster as long as you're the one still standing.
