Why Early Access?

“We’re launching in Early Access because the core gameplay is already there — growing, selling, and running your operation in co-op — but it still needs a lot of work.

During Early Access, we plan to improve performance and networking, expand gameplay systems like growing and progression, and add new content including more strains, extract production, edibles, and potentially additional side content.

We aim to release regular updates throughout Early Access, with a goal of delivering weekly improvements where possible, along with frequent patches to address bugs and improve stability as issues are reported and resolved.

We’ll be developing the game alongside the community and using player feedback to guide updates, just like we did with our previous title.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect the game to remain in Early Access for around 6–12 months, depending on development progress and community feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The game currently starts in Chapter 1: The Island of Maikok.

We plan to expand with new locations once the core systems are fully in place and performance is stable. We’re also working on deeper growing mechanics, better balance, improved networking, skill trees, achievements, Twitch integration, and more side content.

Overall, more depth, more systems, less jank.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core loop is fully playable.

You can grow, sell, expand, and play co-op. Some systems are still rough, balancing is ongoing, and performance will improve over time, hopefully...”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the price as more content and features are added, with a higher price at full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback shaped our last game, and it’ll shape this one too.

We’ll be listening, adjusting, and building based on what players actually want — from day one.

Weed Shop 4 is a cannabis business simulator with an infusion of business management, FPS gameplay, co-op, and a storyline that totally makes sense as long as you don't think about it.

You wake up drifting on a busted boat next to a rundown tropical island that makes you miss your hood.

No money. No weed. No Idea.

Good news? There’s dirt, sunlight… and just enough elephant crap on you to try again.
