Why Early Access?

“Arcane Arena is entering Early Access so we can develop the game alongside our community. The core game is playable and fun, but there is still plenty we want to expand, improve, and refine. Early Access gives players an opportunity to experience the game while helping shape its future through feedback on gameplay, balance, progression, performance, and new features. We want to use that feedback to make Arcane Arena the best experience it can be before its full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Arcane Arena to remain in Early Access for approximately 12 months. This timeline may change depending on development progress and community feedback. Our priority is making sure the game reaches the level of quality and content we want before leaving Early Access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand Arcane Arena throughout Early Access with additional maps, gameplay features, abilities, and content. We also plan to continue improving combat, balance, progression, performance, and the overall player experience based on community feedback.
As development continues, we also aim to improve the game's visual quality using Unreal Engine 5, including improved lighting, environments, visual effects, and more dynamic elements throughout the world of Arcane Arena.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Arcane Arena currently includes the core gameplay systems and playable environments that represent the foundation of the game. Players can experience the core mechanics and explore the currently available maps, including areas that are still being refined.
The game is actively in development, so players should expect ongoing changes to gameplay, balance, environments, visuals, performance, and other systems throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We expect the Early Access price to be lower than the price of the full release. As Arcane Arena grows with additional content, features, and improvements, we may adjust the price to reflect the expanded game. We will communicate any planned pricing changes with the community in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will play an important role in the development of Arcane Arena. We plan to listen closely to player feedback regarding gameplay, balance, abilities, maps, performance, bugs, and potential new features.
Players will be encouraged to share suggestions and report issues throughout Early Access. We plan to use this feedback alongside our own development goals to help determine where Arcane Arena can be improved as we work toward the full release.”
