Why Early Access?

“Sledders will be a massive game when it is ready. From the beginning of the project, our team's vision has been to include the snowmobile community in the development of the game. In early 2023 we released a pre-alpha version free for everyone to play and at the same time, the community had a chance to support the project. Every supporter got the newest version for themselves one week before the other players and unlocked exclusive content. We want to keep this practice going so the community may still participate in the project while we still develop the masterpiece that's going to be the final Sledders.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We estimate the development to full release last to winter season of 2024-2025 so we will be in Early Access for about one year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our aim for the full version is that the game has more of different kind of maps to drive at, enhanced performance, more sleds, more customization options, missions to compete at, and more content and polishing.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game already has all the basic gameplay described in the About This section in it, meaning there's a variety of sleds, different environments and maps, character, physics, and customization.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The full game will be a bit more expensive and we plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We love our community over at Discord! We have active conversations going on there and the whole community is warmly welcomed to participate in the development process by giving open feedback.”
