There is ore under your feet and that is a problem, because it is not in your pocket yet. Dig, sell, upgrade, hire auto-miners, keep digging.

Leaving Early Access: Q1 2027

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Mining Miner started as a small demo to show friends, then grew into something we couldn't stop working on. Because it was prototyped fast, it still has rough edges and balance to sort out, and that's exactly where Early Access helps: with real players digging in on all kinds of setups, we can catch bugs we would never hit on our own and see how people actually play, so we can tune the progression, the skill tree and the overall gameplay before committing to the final version. Now that it is not just a game for our friends, it needs to match what most players expect.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to stay in Early Access for around 6 to 8 months, but this may change depending on player feedback and how development goes. We'd rather take the time we need than rush the final version.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our main focus for the final version is to polish the overall experience, fixing the bugs the community reports, while adapting the skill-tree and auto-mining systems to how players actually play. We may also add a larger new area later on, though that would most likely release as separate DLC rather than as part of the final version. Beyond that, we'd rather stay flexible and let the community guide what we add next.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Mining Miner is already fully playable from start to finish and includes all the main features listed in the "About this game" section. So we don't claim to have more stuff, what you can see in this store page is literally what you can play today and the store page will be updated as the game expands, not the other way around.

You may encounter bugs, and if so, contact us via the Mining Miner Steam discussion page and we will fix it asap ! ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The Steam Community Discussions is where the game's direction gets shaped together with players. There you will be able to:
- report bugs and regressions
- ask for gameplay changes and upgrades
- suggest new content and features
- give feedback after each update

This feedback directly drives what we work on next: which balance issues we fix first, which features we build, and where the game goes. We read every thread and prioritize the most requested changes.”

About This Game

You have a pickaxe. There are about 3,000 meters of rock under your feet. You can see where this is going.

The hole

Mining Miner is an incremental game about digging a very deep hole and refusing to stop. Every block sells. Every coin goes back into the digging. Eighteen layers of rock sit between you and the bottom, each one harder than the last. HOW FAR WILL YOU GO ???? (there is a bottom but I'm obviously keeping your attention)

Stop digging alone

At some point one pickaxe is not enough. Hire auto-miners that dig while you dig, and an elevator that hauls the ore up and sells it by itself. You never have to leave the hole again.

The skill tree

Five branches: Mining, Auto-Miner, Elevator, X-Ray and Cartography. X-Ray shows ore through solid rock, which saves time, which means more digging. Cartography reveals caves before you fall into them. When progress slows down, Prestige resets the hole. You keep the bonuses and you dig it again, faster.

What's down there

I don't know

The numbers

  • 18 rock layers over ~3,000 m

  • 46 achievements, Bronze to Diamond

  • 28 languages to dig in

  • Full controller support (Xbox and PlayStation)

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

AI tools helped making some textures and part of the translations. The game itself runs no AI: nothing is generated while you play, and it never connects to an online service.
