What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Early access allows us to gain valuable feed to make Yes Comrade a game worth playing well into the future. There are a lot of features we wish to add while still getting the game in the hands of players as soon as possible.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Currently the game should be in Early Access for at least 12 months with the end of 2026 being a target for full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We would like to add more items, events, and gameplay features throughout the early access process to then be included in the full version.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Yes Comrade can be fully played with up to 4 players in early access. The game is a fully functional sandbox with many possibilities for different gameplay preferences.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We expect the price of full release to be slightly more than the current offering due to the introduction of new features and support.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will continue to launch our monthly development videos using feedback from players using the Steam forums and our Official Discord channels. Please provide any and all feedback!”

About This Game

Long Live the Great, Glorious Nation of Belegovska

Yes Comrade is a multiplayer survival sandbox where players have been based at a remote military lighthouse to complete tasks in the name of the country’s sea defence.

Called in to take over after the previous members of the Lighthouse went crazy and trashed the place, you have been reassigned to man the sea outpost and continue the protection of the State's sea border and secrets.

You start on a small motor boat in a foggy ocean set for the remote posting. As you arrive at the lighthouse the fog begins to clear and the brutalist architecture of the lighthouse shows. Run down and historic, this building hasn’t seen any repairs for quite some time.

The lighthouse is a mess, trash piles are scattered everywhere, the furniture tipped over or pushed to one side. It's time to start the clean up process.

Ships need to be looked out for from the top of the lighthouse. Around the top of the ceiling is a compass for directing the communication radio. Depending on the type of ship different frequencies of radio need to be used to communicate with the ship. All messages sent to the ships are pre-recorded. Messages sent back are translated on screen. A manual of the ship's flags and styles can be found next to the communication desk. Some ships will be friendly and you can decide if you want to let them through. You have to check some elements of the ship (flag the correct way) and accept or turn them away as necessary.

The polaroid camera is used to capture anomalies seen while working the lighthouse. Images should be developed in the dark room of the basement (red room), then scanned at the computer and sent to Party Headquarters.

Decorating is a fundamental part of the game and allows customisation of the lighthouse in many ways. This can include wallpapering walls, putting up posters and decorations, buying and placing furniture, and much more.

Play the way you want to play with your friends; just stay alive while serving and protecting the greatest nation on earth.
