About This Game

Neebota: 99 Fails is a 3D action adventure with impossibly difficult platforming challenges in 2D. It takes place in Zeebo's surreal nightmare where his body painfully transforms, set to music by  legendary David Wise. Why is Zeebo having this horrific nightmare?

• Literally descend in Zeebo's bed into his dreamworld and face bizarre entities and monsters, and get through challenges in Zeebo's different forms to unlock his story, one comic panel at a time.

• Talk to entities, explore the dreamworld, and solve puzzles and platforming challenges in 3D, as you unlock 2D challenges.

• Battle to maintain focus in 2D platforming challenges as Zeebo's mind does everything to distract you with surreal mental events where time slows down, speeds up, vision is mirrored and bizarre fantastical monsters  distract you, chase you and even try to poke you off balance.

• Hand-sculpted 3D world and drawn 2D art that is weird, macabre and even grotesque, which many players describe as “surreal, beautiful, and unsettling.”

• As you unlock 2D challenges in story mode, play them directly in arcade mode to practice and beat your old score.

• Face friends & foes in the pillar traversal challenge with online play up to 4 players!

• Just how far can you get? Or anyone? Endless is an always online mode with literally everyone competing at the same time to get as far as possible. The journey is endless and the amount of players too. There can be only one winner!

Neebota is a new fantasy universe where beings called Neebotians wrestle with hope, fear, dreams, and self-discovery, much like us humans. Its dreamworld, Noobota, reflects the minds of its inhabitants: twisted, beautiful, and layered with meaning. Zeebo, Laurencia, Rashkadim, and Bervie is a group of friends who hunt for portals to our earth on Neebota and face themselves in their nightmares. 

99 Fails is all about Zeebo's dream and developed by indie studio Frying Jelly with a focus on building original IP and immersive worlds you can get lost in, with the grand RPG "Neebota: Zeebo's Awakening" being the follow-up dream game the studio is working towards.
