Why Early Access?

“Early Access will allow us to make dynamic changes to the micro, macro and meta gameplay of GladiEATers early and often. An integral part of our development strategy is player feedback, feelings and ideas. That's simply not possible without Early Access.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“About a year between our Early Access and full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to have a functioning ranked multiplayer with multiple modes. Alongside this we aim to release the Co-Op mode. We also aim to have new story elements, new GladiEATers, inter-run progression and a fundamental gameplay twist in the full release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At Early Access Launch, three Combat Chefs will be playable, with about 30 GladiEATers to unlock and cook. All Chefs and GladiEATers will be challengable. We'll also have limited player to player multiplayer.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We expect to gradually increase the game's price throughout early access and into full release to better reflect the value new players receive and to reward those eager to contribute to our early access development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan on taking frequent community polls, responding to player feedback on both broad systems and the feel of specific gladiEATers and minigames. We're insistant that this is a community effort and we will constantly be looking for new ways to involve the community.”
