About This Game

Welcome to the CALosseum! Combat Chefs with the power to cook sentient food monsters called GladiEATers have assembled to do battle, and only one can take the crown.

Cook your team in a snappy series of bite-sized minigames, then command your culinary creations in turn-based battles. Follow a diverse cast of characters, each with their own specialities, in single-player mode, then test your talent as a Combat Chef against friends and strangers online!

Cook Your Team

Every battle begins in the kitchen! Start with basic ingredients and cook against the clock to develop them into powerful creatures. With each mini-game, you’ll change your GladiEATers’ form and boost its stats, but it’s up to you to choose how to spend your time. Will you cook up a complex-but-powerful ratatouille or overwhelm your opponent with a massive serving of simple boiled eggs?

With your team plated up, it’s time to do battle in deep turn-based combat, with up to six GladiEATers per side. Crush your opponents with courgettes, bash them with bread, and obliterate them with an orbital guacamole strike that'll make them say 'hey, that's not how guacamole works.' With each victory, you’ll discover diverse recipes, unlock new Combat Chefs, and rise through the ranks of the competition.

Crack the CALosseum

Choose your Combat Chef and fight a series of spicy showdowns to become champion of the CALosseum in single player mode. As events among the competitors (literally) shake the foundations of the CALosseum, you may even find yourself exploring beyond the stadium's walls…

Ready to test your skills in the real world? Take the fight to your friends with online VS modes and rise through the culinary ranks against the world in online ranked battles!

The CAL Particle changed everything! As sentient food became a possibility, nations began to settle their differences through culinary combat in the CALosseum.

Follow a diverse cast of characters in this tale of cooking and conflict. A pun-flinging egg farmer, a monolingual Finnish baker (and his best friend) and at least one secret agent will battle for victory, develop as chefs, and maybe even make a few friends along the way.
