What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We have a long-term vision of making an arena FPS set in a dozen unique impossible spaces. We're only beginning to discover the ways a traditional shooter can be reinvented in impossible geometry. We have so much more to offer that is still in the works, and early access is a perfect opportunity to expose players to the impossible worlds we've already created while continuing to develop and gain feedback along the way!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“A year or longer, as we have many features to add.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“There are plenty more non-Euclidean spaces in the works, including hyperbolic space, mirrors you can walk and shoot through, levels with portals and all-way gravity.
We plan to make procedurally generated "4D" levels that evolve as the match progresses using cellular automata, with diverse biomes like rainforests, beaches and mountains.
We'd like to expand free-for-all to 8 or 16 players.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Spaceflux is an online multiplayer FPS with deathmatches on endless fractals and infinite looping maps, with 1v1s and 3-4 player free-for-all.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Price may raise slowly in small amounts as new features are added.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“If you have a feature request or an idea you'd like to see in the game, reach out to us via the Steam Discussion board or email us at! We do our best to respond quickly. Send us bug reports/gameplay issues so we can fix them in a timely manner. Finally, please leave a review! We want to hear about your experience as it helps us improve the game.”
