It is the year 2062 and humanity is at the brink of extinction. Tiberium, the mysterious, alien crystalline structure that has infested Earth for decades and served as the primary reason for years of relentless conflict between the Global Defense Initiative (GDI) and the Brotherhood of Nod, is close to rendering the planet uninhabitable. Mankind is on the verge of extinction when Kane, Nod’s prophetic leader, emerges from seclusion to deliver GDI the message that he has developed a system that could control Tiberium and harness its power. I have played Command and Conquer for years. I am certainly not a purist. I have played C and C 4 for many hours and think it is a good game. I like it EVEN though it is not exactly like the old versions. Sometimes it is good to try something new. I appreciate a company trying to take a risk.

Why fix what ain't broken? Seriously. EA killed the series.

Cons:
1. No base building/ tiberium harvesting= loss of the rts feel. What I mean by this is that 4 is more for the starcraft spam multiplayer than anyone else. Without base building or real tiberium harvesting where every purchase is much more impacting in the long meta of a mission, everything here becomes a rock paper scissors contest of what you can deploy to counter 1 to 2 enemy crawlers. Without base building the story also seems totally rushed.
2. The story is terrible. Either way you end up really lossing and with the worst cliff hanger that implies EA not progressing the story past this game. Its like we began with Turtledove, rich in universe detail and description with Tiberium Dawn thru tiberium sun while forgoing character development. then in 3 we hit an SM Stirling kind of narrative with really indepth background about the universe, annecdotes about characters like Havoc from Renegade, and crazy battlefields like red zones and yellow. Then we hit this...this slop. If you are here for the story I suggest you find it elsewhere for Tiberium Twilight will make you hate yourself.
3. Multiplayer is stupid unbalanced due to unit unlocks versus experience. If you're a new player online prepare to have your first majority of battles to be like Dark Souls; lots of death and much frustration as you have tier I and maybe tier II while your opponent has tier III and more. It's going to be a bad time. hint just rush support. Air OP.
4. Still too expensive for how bad it is.

Pros:
1. Kane is back. Kane backstabs GDI.
2. Scrin towers actually are explained.
3. Missions are generally quick.

别问姐为什么要买 我买来就是为了给差评的
如果说3和TW的成功让很多人觉得CNC系列有了复苏的迹象 那么我很明白告诉各位 4这个续作是如何毁掉CNC系列的
1.稀烂的剧情 我就不吐槽这剧情有多差了 90年代RPG都不会这么用了好么
2.糟糕的AI 在CC3仍然存在的AI问题还是没有解决 单位的移动等等仍然奇怪
3.神奇的要求 我玩个战役你还要我联网?就EA那个破服务器你在逗我?
总之 我对这游戏就一句话 谁买谁傻逼

如果我说命令与征服3是命令与征服系列复活的一点预兆的话,那么命令与征服4就是EA把命令与征服系列推上绞架恨不得立刻将其绞死,之后再将尸体拉出来让人们凭吊(亦或是唾骂)——没错,命令与征服4就是这么一“坨”被糟蹋的差不多的尸体。

命令与征服4首先最不能容忍的就是将延续下来的,以资源转化为单位的传统RTS即时战略改成了以指挥点数为资源的即时战术游戏,——命令与征服作为RTS鼻祖之一最后落得必须更改为即时战术游戏,作为游戏标志的泰伯伦矿居然变成了升级用道具,难怪公布时玩家会大喊“还我大片大片可以收割的泰伯伦矿!”一款没有泰伯伦的命令与征服,这简直就是对命令与征服系列的亵渎。

至于游戏的在线模式完全就是在和同期的星海争霸2的模仿,仿效SC2一样采用与网络平台合体,强制联机的方式,将游戏的单机内容完全捆绑在在线模式之上,可是万万没想到的是,命令与征服4没有提供离线单机体验模式,很多人想打剧情,就只能连接上连线质量并不怎么好的EA服务器。并且还得注册一个EA账号(即后来origin账户),

另一方面,可能是对命令与征服3系列忽视命令与征服2的风格的一点“补偿”,本作矫枉过正的打造了一个满屏太空服士兵和机甲的战斗场面,但是这些机甲与命令与征服2的风格完全不搭界,三种机甲主基地的外观被斥之为“春卷”和“乌龟盖”,可以说明显就是画虎不成反类犬的一个体现。

至于剧情,在将Westwood硕果仅存的几个成员干掉之后,新的编剧Samuel Bass大展自己胡编乱造的能力,将原有“泰伯伦黄昏”的剧本完全无视,秉承着迫不及待将剧本写死的态度写出了一个漏洞百出的大结局,并且十分幼稚的秉承”只要把GDI写坏,把NOD洗白就好”的简单思维,把原本GDI虽代表正义但是内部腐化,NOD表面邪恶却拥有宗教一般的反派魅力的两种风格给彻底的黑白分明化,并且将其安插在一个犹如肥皂剧一般的剧本中,最终肯恩更是莫名其妙的离开地球了。

至此可以看出,这个剧本,就是为了判命令与征服本传系列死刑而写的,他自始至终就传达着一个意思:C&C——DIE!

在EA LA饱受摧残之后,命令与征服4成为了LA改组前的遗作,刚刚度过红色警报3的磨合期,整个命令与征服系列的标签从Westwood到EA LA,第二代CNC的风格崛起这一系列蒸蒸日上的迹象之后,EA LA又因为命令与征服4步了Westwood的后尘,于是我们看到了一个不伦不类的命令与征服4,以及其代表的真正的“泰伯伦黄昏”——属于命令与征服的黄昏。
