About This Game

Serious Sam 3: BFE is a first-person action shooter, a glorious throwback to the golden age of first-person shooters where men were men, cover was for amateurs and pulling the trigger made things go boom.

Serving as a prequel to the original indie and Game of the Year sensation, Serious Sam: The First Encounter, Serious Sam 3 takes place during the Earth’s final struggle against Mental’s invading legions of beasts and mercenaries.

Key Features

  • Frantic Arcade-Style Action – Hold down the trigger and lay waste to a never-ending onslaught of attackers or face being overrun by Mental’s savage beasts. No cover systems, no camping – it’s just you against them. All of them!
  • Fearsome Enemy Creatures – A new battalion of unforgettable minions including the rumbling Scrapjack and towering Khnum join the legendary Headless Kamikaze, Gnaar and Sirian Werebull to create the fiercest opposition you’ve ever had the pleasure of mowing down!
  • Spectacular Environments – Battle across the expansive battlefields of near-future Egypt bursting at the seams with total chaos. The shattered cities of tomorrow lined with the crumbling temples of an ancient world become your destructible playground!
  • Destructive Arsenal – Unleash Serious Sam’s arsenal of weapons including a scoped assault rifle, the double-barreled shotgun, the explosive automatic shotgun, the punishing minigun, and the almighty barrage of flaming cannonballs! Carry all of Sam’s weapons at once and switch between each gun on the fly for maximum firepower!
  • Brutal Melee Attacks – When the going get’s tough, the tough take matters into their own hands! Rip out the eye of a closing Gnaar, twist off the face of the hideous Scrapjack or snap the neck of an Arachnoid Hatchling for an instant kill!
  • Co-Op Multiplayer – Go to war against Mental’s horde with up to 16 players online and annihilate everything that moves across 12 single-player levels of mayhem in Standard Co-Op, Classic Co-Op, Coin-Op Co-Op, Beast Hunt and Team Beast Hunt mode.
  • Survival Singleplayer & Multiplayer – Try to survive alone (offline) against wave after wave of enemies with specially created levels in Survival mode or have your online friends join two teams, fighting both each other and enemies, in the relentless Team Survival mode!
  • Versus Multiplayer – Fight against each other or other teams in various multiplayer versus modes like Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Last Man Standing, Last Team Standing, Instant Kill and My Burden, along with Team Beast Hunt and Team Survival!
  • Split Screen Modes – Play local (offline) split screen co-op and multiplayer versus modes with up to four players on one screen! It even includes the support for multiple keyboards and mice!
  • Level Editor* – Create your own levels, MODs, textures and other content with the inclusion of the fully featured Serious Editor 3.5!
  • Steam Workshop – Submit your content creation or download new player-created content and modifications for Serious Sam 3!
  • Misc Game Options – 5 difficulty levels, quick-save, auto-save, multiple save slots, 3rd person view, co-op gameplay tweaking options, game controller support, localized with subtitles, parental blood & gore control including hippie mode, various color schemes, tons of advanced graphics options to tweak, cheats, console, Steam trading cards, achievements, leaderboards and cloud and much, much more!

Game is pretty fun to be honest. I enjoyed it until its last mission. It had some '' Oh damn ...'' or '' OH COME ON !'' moments. But it was good.
In short therm : They give you big guns and they want you to go to point B from point A. Your mission is to reach there simple. But you will see alot of monsters in the way that is why the big guns are for. Usually end of the missions you will greeted by bosses, or survival waves. But forreal its soo much enjoyable.
Humans found an artifa , Bla,bla, bla, bla. Boring story. Its kinda clicshe to me.
Worth it ?:
Well ... I bought it on sales for like 3$ soo yeah its worth it. But it doesnt worth the full price. WAIT for sales.

Note :
I usually like a lot of enemies attacking at once ... but dude f**k that last level with a potato.

far better than previous serious sam games.

i love the environment, it adds immersion to the game.

the graphics are great.

the gameplay is still the same, run and shoot

melee seems to be a new addition.

a new melee kick addition to the game. enemies are close press "e" has a different effect on each enemy, and it's pretty sweet!

game runs really smooth, no surprise there as the devs have done a great job on all their games.

haven't found bugs/glitches

sam still says stupid sh*t, makes the game funny. i still remember my favorite line "hey, didn't i just kick your a** two rooms back"

huge varieties of enemies, large, small, super large, over powered, etc. headless f*ckers run at you, some how screaming with bombs in their hands. this reminds me of terrorists from recent real life events, makes me enjoy killing these enemies that much more. i scream "praise JESUS!" BOOM!!! jk (not a jesus groupie).

this is a great game, it's only con is it is a bit repetative. very fun to play woith friends. i highly recommend! 8/10.

Was fun, but not as fun as SSFE. And the boss part of the game was kind of weak. The guns were the same fun, but should have been more to collect (even though it was a prequel)

Not as good as second encounter but again, Serious Sam is supposed to be funny and it is. Map designs are awesome, graphics is awesome and difficulties are great. (You can t finnish some of the levels on hardest difficulty without other players - like it) awesome and funny meelee kills great weapons. I recommend this game but I think that the Second Encounter was the best Serious Sam ever.

This is a great follow-up to Serious Sam: The First Encounter and Serious Sam: The Second Encounter. Although I wish it had more boss fights as SS2 did.

Seriously hard, even on Normal difficulty.
People, if your framerate is dog excrement, de-activate Multi-Sampling Anti-Aliasing (MSAA) and set Fast Approximate Anti-Aliasing to Ultra for the best framerate.

Uh oh, separate review for the workshop! Watch out, salty kid expressing his opinion!

The workshop of this game is full of anime and Undertale. Basically, Pyrocynical made a commentary with this game as footage and people got nuts over the game, and now cancerous addons are walking on the surface of the game's workshop and breaking it. Oh wait, the surface was already broke? Well, too late!

"When there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth" -George A Romero

So I suggest you to not touch the workshop and play the vanilla.

Serious Sam 3 BFE is seriously one of the best games of its genre and, in all seriousness, an example of how a perfectly built gameplay should be.

There is tons of action of course, with cazillions of enemies to battle, especially on the higher difficulty levels, but there is also a good deal of exploration and discovery, together with beautiful and atmospheric sceneries - the post-apocalyptic cities and towns are incredible.

You really need to try this game on the harder modes if only to see for yourself how the cleverly made environments, as long as you take advantage of them the best way, are actually your secret "allies" in fighting all those enemies that may seem, on first look, impossible to deal with. There are numerous easter eggs, bigger or smaller nods to many other games, and Sam's hilarious lines.

The game has many secrets to look for - some are very easy to find, others require some search. And of course there is the music, one of the most epic and majestic soundtracks you've ever listened, and in particular the masterpiece that is the final boss fight piece.

Product received for free
I ripped the eyeball out of a cyclops, threw it at an alien, ripped the same alien's heart out, threw it at a suicide bomber, and then shot said bomber in the face with a deagle. And then it exploded.

11/10, I reccomend to anyone looking for a little bit of the ol' ultraviolence

pvp: killing madness. I never had more kills than deaths (80%)

game: It is cruel like legions vs legions, but actually it is 1 vs legions where that "1" is logically .... "logically" winner.
It is not bad to play, but after 1x, maximaly 3x finished game and few hours in pvp it becomes waste (70%)
