Today's update addresses an issue with non-ASCII Windows account names.
If you were one of the players getting an error stating "An unknown I/O error has occurred" when running Super Motherload, that issue should now be resolved for you.
If you were encountering this issue, please give the game a try now and let us know if this has resolved it for you.
Thank-you for your patience.

A lot of you have been asking about custom key binding. While we have had custom key binding partially implemented in Super Motherload for some time, it was largely broken. Today's update fixes those issues, and allows players playing with a keyboard, or even multiple players on the same machine using a keyboard, to bind keys of their choosing. Custom key bindings are saved automatically.
While Super Motherload still plays best with a gamepad, for those playing with a Keyboard please note that keyboard ghosting, a hardware limitation of pretty much all keyboards, will make some key combinations work less than optimally, especially when playing with several players on a single keyboard.
If you do have an extra keyboard (or three) kicking around, you can plug multiple keyboards into the same system to mitigate ghosting with multiple players.
More information on keyboard ghosting is available here:
