This game has many bugs that need to be fixed. I know that a lot of people are encountering the bug where the game crashes in the fight between madara and the 5 kages and when shikamaru uses his ultimate jutsu on asuma. I like plaing this game, but crashes like these make me so ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Especially the one when the 5 kages fight against madara because i can't progress in the story since it always crashes.

It's a great game for a local vs fight. Story is really awesome and graphics are beautifuly, controls are smooth. Should get a positive review but...

The save system is completely broken, after the 3rd time discovering my game was not saved i just gave up just one chapter before the end of the game. And it had gotten a bit repetitive by that time so it felt like a punishment replaying pretty much the whole chapter all over again.

also it lacks a quit item in menus. alt+f4 for the win. I managed to find it once... still no idea where it was...

Only for hardcore Naruto fans.

PROS:

+ great presentation
+ controls(easy to learn, hard to master)
+ MASSIVE character roster
+ all characters feel unique
+ ultimate abilities

CONS:

- the cutscenes are LONG(this could be a PRO if you're into the franchise)
- the camerawork
- difficulty balance is off
- some characters are overpowered while others pathetically useless
- if you know nothing about the manga/anime, the story will be confusing

UNS 3 is really easy on the eyes.
Plenty of characters to choose from, they suit multitude of playstyles.
There's multiplayer, local vs mode, pretty long single player campaign with extra end-game content.
Sounds great, no?
However, once you start playing, little nuisances start chipping away at your patience.
To the point that you may stop playing and give up on finishing the game entirely.
Happened to me a couple of times during my gameplay(I'm looking at you, Deidara, YOU PIECE OF ♥♥♥♥).
And, mark my words, the final battle is a ♥♥♥♥ing joke(the camerawork during that one added an insult to injury, it's almost as if the devs implemented a clunky camera for a reason).
I'm all in for difficult games, but difficult as in "challenging but fair", not as in "dificult because of factors beyond the player's control".
Ultimately(huehuehue), Ninja STORM 3 isn't that bad, but it isn't good either.
I had some fun with experiencing the fights from the series in an interactive manner.
But that's it.
Sorry, but no.

As an interactive movie....Excellent!!!
As a Fighting Genre/Game.........Not so Good :(

If your a fan of the anime, and really like the series, it has a better look than the actual cartoon.
If you are looking for serious fighting Vs action, I would try something else.

I got this on sale for 7.50, but with 30FPS at its best, I almost reconsidered.

-Not open world, which has has little to do besides fight for the next cutscene.
-Framerates can vary, and not very playable at times.

+Seriously great artwork, with the feel of the anime series.

Bandai Namco is another great name with potential, but sadly, I have yet to see the artwork match the games playability.

After recently finishing the anime. It sure bring back the feels.....

This game start during after pain's arc.... that's all you need to know, because I don't want to spoil where the game will end.
But overall this game is amazing, the gameplay is amazing, there's a variety of character to choose from in free battle, it sure follows the anime/manga itself and the soundtrack is UHHHHHHHHH... So yeah I recommend this game, especially to the naruto series fans...

11/10 would drop a tear or two again .........

Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja storm Fullburst 3
is my favourite relase of Naruto game series i spend so much time here that i dont want to play any others 'cause i get used to characters and their moveset.

Gameplay
NSUNS3 is like any other fighter game you got special combos,move sets,abilities & utilities.
You just fight okay?
All you do is spam one button(joke) ~ Okay okay ,_, "you try to perform combo"
But umm to be honest gameplay is dynamic and very enjoyable(except the fact that game sometimes freeze .w.) .

Audio
Soundtracks are nearly all the time the same but they keep up with fights sometimes goes faster or turn out sad when good character start loosing against evil one.

Graphics
Fancy,cartoon,anime ect ._. i think thats all their just nice XD

Verdict - 9/10

I love game and will keep up playing it ~

I recommend it to everyone - Rich

I have played enough of this game, and I think Its time to write review about it.

I recommend this game for all fighting genre lovers!

Lets start with good things:

+ Amazing Storyline, If you don't want to watch anime, you will understand what happened in hundreds of episodes just by playing this game, Of course some things are changed in Naruto Storm 3 Story compared to the original Anime.

+ Great Graphics, If you enable SuperSampling on 2X, The game Is gorgeous.

+ A lot of Playable Characters.

+ Adventure Mode(In story mode) Is really enjoyable, There are a lots of missions to keep you busy.

+ Online mode, You can fight against your friends, or someone who you don't know.

+ All dlcs are In this package, Simply you purchase the base game, And you have all dlcs.

+ Uchiha brothers story Is Implanted, To unlock It you have to do few tasks which takes time, But In the end, It does worth it.

Now the bad things:

- Online mode has few problems.

- 30fps lock

- Adventure mode might get boring for you, Because mostly you go from point A, to point B.

- It would be nice to have locked support characters as playable characters.

- Cutscenes are long, But It Isn't con for me, For most people It should be.

- There are lots of unnecessary loading pauses.

- Some of the characters hasn't been updated since Storm 2.

- Sometimes camera bugs out.

- Sometimes you will notice glitches.

Overall I recommend this game for fighting genre lovers, And mostly for Anime: Naruto Shippuden watchers.

I rate It 8/10 and recommend buying this on sale, Because last game of Storm franchise arrived already, and If you watch Anime: Naruto Shippuden, You may think storyline Is kinda outdated compared to the current anime storyline.

Not recommended for those who didn't watch or read Naruto. Otherwise - a must have for any Naruto fan.
[This was my first Naruto Storm game]
The story mode:
Very neat, it contains various minor and boss battles with beautifully made quick time events. The only downside may be a huge amount of cutscenes and unnecessary "walk from A to B" feature. The story covers everything from the end of Pain arc till Naruto breaks Tobi's mask.
Adventure mode:
A complete boredom. It had a solid potential as you take a look at Storm 1 but in this game it's just terrible. You can't sprint, you can't jump on buildings, you don't get fully voiced dialogues while interacting with other characters. All that you can do is travel through some places, break a crate, hit a mushroom (WTF?), receive a ridiculous amount of Ryo, finish a few filler-ish requests and complete the ninja timeline. That's it. I'd be willing to pay to see at least one person who enjoyed the adventure mode.
Characters, freebattle and online:
This is the main thing for the majority of people who bought the game. Fighting mechanics are fairly simple, yet hard to master. You won't win against anyone that has spent some time on this game with your pure mashing/spamming skills. There's also a reasonably decent amount of characters but some of them are outdated or broken (overpowered/glitchy).The online mode itself is O.K. These are the modes that you can find online: Player matches, Ranked, Tournament and Endless. The biggest downside of online experience is the community itself. It's a rarity to find a decent player since most of them will try to play in the cheapest way possible and later on they'll rage quit if you will have the lead. Oh, and don't forget about the lag! You do need a good connection, otherwise don't even bother playing online or just submit a refund. So I suggest to find people to play with and you're good to go.
Visuals, options, technical stuff:
Every Storm game had sick graphics to present that anime feeling, it's famous for spectacular boss battles and especially ultimate jutsus, no complaints here. However, the video settings are just poor as well as the keyboard support. It is playable in freebattle just fine (keyboard warrior here with 500+ hours) but It's complicated to do analog spins in story mode.
Overall, the port is poorly made (fps drops here and there), long loading screens, lack of settings, multiple bugs, netcode and server issues, etc. But despite these cons. I'd still recommend this game since it's fun anyways.
8.5/10

The first Naruto game on Steam, Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is a great addition to the saga. I've been a fan of the Ultimate Ninja games since they were on the PS2 (in fact, I have all the Ultimate Ninja games for the PS2), as they're excellent fighting games. However, this is my first game since Ultimate Ninja 5, as I could not afford the newer consoles. The combat system has changed since the old PS2 days, going from a traditional 2D fighting style to a more open 3D arena, and I'd say it's a great change (of course, I think this change occurred when the Ultimate Ninja Storm saga started).

The combat system, in itself, it's quite simple at first sight, with physical attacks alongside the traditional jutsus from the anime, and ranged attacks using different ninja weapons like shurikens or kunais. The traditional Ultimate Jutsus remain here, and they're bigger and better. The animations are pretty good, and the art style closely resembles the anime itself.

As for the story, it starts with a prologue set during the destruction of Konoha by the Kyuubi, and then jumps onto the Five Kage Summit, and ends during the Fourth Great Ninja War. The story mode features the already common open world featuring several landmarks of the ninja world, including some of the hidden villages. Besides the story itself, you can also take different special missions, including fighting some "historical" battles from the franchise (ie, battles that happened before the main story of the game).

The game includes a large roster of characters, each with their own skills, straight from the anime. Among them are the Hokages, the Jinchuriki, and the Akatsuki. The game also allows you to select up to two extra characters to help you along during battles, which can create some very interesting and dynamic teams.

If you're a Naruto fan, or fan of fighting games in general, then this will be a great addition to your library, I recommend it.

Huge Character Roster, Fun Battles/Missions, Cutscenes/Storymode is also good. You could honestly just play this game instead of watching the long winded, filler-riddled anime. Online is decent. If you are primarliy concerned about online gameplay then get nuns revolution. 8.5/10

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst is perhaps the most extreme example yet of Namco Bandai's attempt to appeal to the converted and only to the converted. Here's a game not simply for any old Naruto fan, but for Naruto fans who are completely up to date with the story and characters as they currently exist in the anime/manga episodes and are seeking a new way of experiencing previously explored plotlines. If you're not up to date, then not only are you going to struggle enormously with the story as depicted in the game's early stages, but you're going to ruin what you've not yet seen of the TV series. Unfortunately, due to gameplay that is as unwieldy and bloated as its title, Full Burst is not an acceptable way to get yourself up to date with this franchise.
his may be a beat-'em-up, but the primary Ultimate Adventure mode features so little gameplay in comparison to cutscenes and dialogue-heavy exposition that you'd be forgiven for thinking you're sitting through a barely interactive (albeit combat-heavy) soap opera. It feels as though developer CyberConnect2's plan was to create a condensed edition of the anime in which fight scenes are playable, rather than create a game in its own right. This leads to an experience that features such haphazard and irregular pacing that your principal cause for intrigue rests in trying to work out just how long it's going to be before the game asks you to pick up the controller again--and even when you do, the core combat is a shallow, button mashing affair that requires little in the way of skill. While there's definite and worthwhile value in repackaging the events of a beloved series in a new format, there's also value in a game giving you something to do.

There may be a lack of interaction in story mode, but that doesn't hold true for the package as a whole. Including all of the downloadable content released for the original Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja 3 release, the volume of content on offer is gargantuan. Chief among the additions is the extra Ultimate Adventure chapter, which sees Sasuke and Itachi Uchiha take on the nefarious Sage Kabuto, a segment that is so phenomenally difficult in comparison to the rest of the game that all previously learned tactics become essentially redundant. The same Sage Kabuto is unlockable as a playable character if you have the patience to jump through the numerous hoops to unlock him, and there are also some new costumes to swoon over.
he biggest, but certainly not most interesting, piece of extra content comes in the form of supplementary challenge missions. One hundred of these have you beating an opponent in a fight while handicapped in some way--removing your ability to jump, for example, or setting a limit on the number of attacks at your disposal. While these missions do add some welcome variety to the combat, they primarily serve to highlight just how shallow the core mechanics are. Without these externally shoehorned twists on battle, fighting suffers from an overwhelming shallowness that sees you engage autopilot once the basics become second nature. Only during set-piece boss battles are you asked to do something out of the ordinary.

To compound matters, the most members of the enormous character roster plays in the same way. You swap between characters regularly during Ultimate Adventure, but this is done predominantly to facilitate the narrative rather than to spice up gameplay through variety and diversity. Granted, significant and impressive visual flair is achieved by switching often between characters with attacks that are literally out of this world, but that aesthetic quality doesn't remain interesting long enough for the combat inadequacies to be forgiven. Clearly, this is not a game with the remotest desire to cement its place in the bastion of hardcore fighting game legacy, but that doesn't excuse the fact that there's so little meat to the gameplay that you're essentially feasting on elaborately painted bones.

Similar problems exist with Ultimate Adventure's role-playing-game-lite elements, which allow you to roam around a number of different environments with a view to collecting and buying items to use in combat (health potions, strength buffs, and so on) and optionally talking to loitering non-player characters. At times, these moments provide a welcome break from the cutscene/fight/cutscene pattern, but more often than not, they feel designed to artificially lengthen the game and trick you into thinking you're playing something with genuine genre-blending aspirations.
The closest comparison to this format is Asura's Wrath, another of CyberConnect2's offerings. However, where Asura's Wrath succeeds in this style of storytelling thanks to its short length and ferocious pace, Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 suffers from attempting to cover far too much ground for the core mechanics to handle. If you do classify yourself as a Naruto aficionado, then simply having another medium through which to consume the narrative is potentially going to be enough to satisfy you. Without a doubt, everyone else should look elsewhere.
