About This Game

The orders keep coming. The deep will not wait.

Abyssal Starfeast is a first-person horror cooking simulator where you must survive seven days serving unsettling customers beneath the sea. Catch fish and prepare their meals in a cramped kitchen while the clock keeps ticking. Keeping a customer waiting can cost you more than a tip.

Catch it. Prepare it. Serve it.

Pick up fish, ingredients, and tools and work your way through each recipe. Slice, season, grill, and simmer to complete the order, then plate your food and hand it over. Keep an eye on the grill: a moment of distraction can leave dinner burnt.

Keep the kitchen running. Keep yourself alive.

Repair breaches in the hull and deal with threats that interrupt your cooking. Buy the tools and ingredients you need, manage your money and health, and decide what needs your attention first: the next dish or the latest emergency.

Seven days. Different endings.

Listen to your customers and face the unsettling events that unfold with each day. Your record of fulfilled orders and your actions at the end shape the outcome.

  • Hands-on, first-person fishing, food preparation, cooking, and serving
  • Timed orders that put your planning and multitasking to the test
  • A tense horror atmosphere with hostile customers and kitchen emergencies
  • A story spanning seven days with multiple endings
  • English, Korean, and Japanese interfaces and subtitles

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

I have been developing this game myself, from its initial design to implementing its systems. More recently, I began using generative AI to help review my existing code and create some of the images used in the game. AI helped me check the code I had written and identify areas for improvement. I personally reviewed the suggested changes and generated images, then continued testing and revising them after integrating them into the game.

I spent a great deal of time making sure the images suited the game's atmosphere and that the revised code worked as intended. I made the final decisions about which results to use and how to refine them.

To be honest, some of the visuals, including the modeling, still show the limits of my skills. Throughout development, I kept noticing things I wanted to improve and reworked them many times, though some parts may still feel rough or awkward. I wish my skills could fully match the game I want to share with you, but I have put a lot of care into making it, checking and refining even the small details. I will continue working on the areas that need improvement.
