What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Hotel 13 relies on careful observation, subtle changes, and an unsettling atmosphere. Early Access gives us an opportunity to see how players experience these elements and use their feedback to improve anomaly design, pacing, and the overall experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Early Access to last approximately 1–3 months. This is an estimate, and the timeframe may change depending on player feedback and the scope of improvements needed.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full version, we plan to expand the variety of anomalies and unsettling events, refine the atmosphere and sound design, and improve performance and usability. We also aim to adjust the difficulty and pacing based on player feedback, making each journey through the hotel more varied and engaging.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes Hotel 13’s core gameplay: exploring repeating hotel corridors, observing your surroundings, and deciding whether to turn back or continue based on the presence of an anomaly. Players can experience the central atmosphere and anomaly encounters, while content variety, balancing, and technical polish are still being developed.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently do not plan to increase the price during Early Access or when the full version is released.

”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to use Steam Discussions as the main place to collect bug reports, suggestions, and feedback. We are especially interested in how players experience the anomalies, difficulty, and atmosphere. This feedback will help us set development priorities, and we plan to share progress through Steam announcements.”

About This Game

A normal night at the hotel reception changes with a phone call from Room 138. The woman on the other end says something is wrong and asks you to come upstairs.

There may not be an anomaly on every floor.

If there is an anomaly, turn back.

If there is no anomaly, keep going.

Even a small change may be enough to help you make the right decision.

An anomaly-based psychological horror game set in the repeating corridors of a hotel, inspired by liminal spaces and unsettling environments.
