Why Early Access?

“Card Revolution Soccer is already in a very playable state. The core gameplay loop is fully functional and offers many hours of gameplay. However, we still have additional game modes, content and polish planned for the future.
We are choosing Early Access because we want to involve the community in the continued development of the game. Feedback from players will help us identify which features and improvements are most important, improve the balance and fine-tune the gameplay experience.

We especially want to learn from players how the card-based match simulation, progression systems and gameplay customization feel in practice. Based on community feedback and our own development goals, we will continue to add content, improve existing features and refine the overall experience.

Our goal is to use Early Access as an active development phase and work together with the community toward the final version of Card Revolution Soccer. We are committed to continuing development and using player feedback to help shape the game along the way.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are looking forward to leaving early access and releasing the full version of Card Revolution Soccer in 2027.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our current development focus is on adding a League mode and completing the World Tour mode. Beyond that, we'll evaluate and prioritize additional content and features based on community feedback. Throughout Early Access, we'll continue improving the game with balance adjustments, polish, and bug fixes.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version is fully playable and includes the complete core gameplay experience of Card Revolution Soccer.

Matches are simulated through a card-based gameplay system in which players reveal cards that trigger football actions and events such as passes, offsides, red cards, shots, goals, half-time and the final whistle. Set pieces such as free kicks and penalties are played through interactive mini-games.

The current version includes Friendly Matches, Custom Tournaments, Classic Tournaments and the World Tour mode. Players earn the in-game currency “Balls” through playing matches and winning games, which can be used to improve team and coach skills. There are no real-money microtransactions.

The core gameplay systems and features described above are implemented and playable in the current Early Access build. Additional game modes, content and quality-of-life features are still in development and will be expanded and refined throughout Early Access. We are also continuously working on game balance, polish and bug fixes.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently plan to keep the price unchanged throughout Early Access. The price may increase with the full release to reflect the additional content and improvements added during development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want to actively involve the community in the development process. To achieve this, we plan to host regular streams and maintain an ongoing dialogue with players through Discord. Player feedback will help us prioritize improvements, new content, and future development.”
