About This Game

Sill Cats brings tiny cats to live on your desktop.

They stroll along the tops of your open windows, curl up in some corner for a nap, perk up when the mouse moves and wander over to investigate. At 2 AM they might suddenly dash across the screen at full speed — yes, real zoomies. If you've ever lived with a cat, this will all feel familiar.

What these little ones do

• Window tops are their walking path — they amble along the upper edges of your open apps
  
  
• Hopping from window to window — exploring your workspace on their own terms
  
  
• Curious about your cursor — when the mouse moves they may quietly approach, or may not
  
  
• Click and they might play — once to catch their eye, twice for a reaction, three times and they might actually play along
  
  
• Moods change with the time of day — most lively at dawn and dusk, drowsy around midday (this is what "crepuscular" means)
  
  
• Late-night zoomies — sudden 1–4 AM sprints; consider yourself lucky if you catch one
  
  
• Multi-monitor friendly — no matter how many monitors you have, they're all part of the walking route

They won't get in the way of your work most of the time, but occasionally they'll bat at your cursor. Please give them a pass — they are, after all, cats.

Start with two adorable cats

Sill Cats is free to start. Your first two companions are a slender Abyssinian and a dignified Tuxedo. If they win you over, you can grow your family through breed packs. Half the fun is deciding who joins next.

Starting today, capricious little cats will be visiting your desktop.

How to configure

To change the cat breed, quit the app, or adjust other options, right-click the resident icon in the system tray and use the menu that appears.

Up to two cats can be on screen at the same time.
