About This Game

Idyll Isle runs in a slim, transparent window above your taskbar and never covers your work. While you work, study, or watch videos, the island keeps going at the bottom of the screen. A glance now and then to adjust your plans is all it takes.
Islanders work on their own according to their trade: they farm, chop wood, fish, mine, and cook. You assign the work, plan where facilities go, and upgrade their tools. As the island grows, you can form an expedition party and head out to sea in search of collectibles and ocean routes.

From Wheat Field to Production Chain

Start with a single wheat field and build up a full production chain. Crops and catches become meals at the Kitchen, ore is smelted into ingots and forged into tools at the Blacksmith Shop, and timber and stone bricks go into new facilities. With dozens of crops, recipes, ores, and catches, how they link into supply lines is up to you.

Build, Restore, and Expand

More than a dozen building types, including Farm Plots, Water Wells, Storage, Kitchens, Animal Pens, Blacksmith Shops, Gem Workshops, and Trading Posts, can be placed wherever you like. Layout affects efficiency: build Storage near a work area and islanders spend less time walking. Repair broken bridges, abandoned railways, and derelict facilities to open new areas with more fields, waters, and ore veins.

Tool Upgrades

Every trade has its own tools: sickles, buckets, axes, fishing rods, hammers, and spatulas. Tool quality sets work efficiency. A better sickle harvests more cleanly, and a better rod comes up empty less often. At the Blacksmith Shop, smelted ingots become new tools, from Primitive up to Advanced, and accessories such as boots and gloves add further bonuses.

Animals and Trade

Wild animals appear on the island. Feed and tame them, and they move into Animal Pens to produce eggs, milk, and wool. Pair them to breed, and the offspring inherit their parents' quality. Repairing the Lighthouse opens trade routes, and Trading Post caravans carry goods out to sell and bring back the supplies you order.

Expeditions

Recruit adventurers at the Expedition Tavern, form a party, and follow the routes the Lighthouse lights up, from near seas to distant ones. Compare your party's power with each sea's danger before setting out, because an underpowered party may come back empty-handed. Farther seas hold rarer finds, such as the Coastal Seashell, Weathered Compass, Abyssal Coral, and Tempest Lodestone, all kept in your collection.

The Great Ship

Once the island prospers, the Shipyard on the shore can be put back to work. Gather Premium Boards, Sail Canvas, a Nautical Chart, and voyage supplies to build an ocean-going ship, then sail past the Veiltide toward waters no one has crossed in years.

The Stele and the Letters

The Echo Stele on the shore records the island's past and the background of each islander. Once the Lighthouse is lit, merchants from afar begin to visit, and their letters gradually reveal the forgotten history of these waters.
