Why Early Access?

“Galactic Bounty is built around a simple idea: you're a droid bounty hunter taking contracts across the galaxy, earning Crypt and upgrading yourself for the next job.

We're bringing the game into Early Access so players can experience that foundation while we continue developing its missions, combat, progression and overall presentation.

Player feedback will help us understand what works, what needs improvement and where to focus development as we work toward the full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We're currently aiming for a full release around January 2027, although this is an estimate rather than a guaranteed date.

The timeline will depend on development progress, stability and player feedback. We'd rather spend the necessary time improving the game than release version 1.0 before it's ready.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full release is planned to expand and refine Galactic Bounty's existing gameplay.

Development priorities include additional playable contracts, greater mission variety, improved enemy intelligence and combat, weapon balancing, expanded progression, better environmental lighting, interface improvements, performance optimization and bug fixes.

We'll also use community feedback to help prioritize improvements.

Our goal is to make the bounty-hunting experience more complete, polished and reliable as we approach version 1.0.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Galactic Bounty currently features its core first-person droid bounty-hunting systems, including a player ship, contract selection, mission environments, combat, objective-based gameplay, Crypt rewards and upgrade systems.

The game is still actively being developed. Individual missions and features are at different stages of completion and polish, and players should expect some rough edges, bugs and changes during Early Access.

We're continuing to improve mission reliability, enemy behaviour, environments, progression and the user interface.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will not change when we leave Early Access. The price stays the same throughout Early Access and for the full 1.0 release.

If our pricing plans change, we'll communicate that in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want players to help shape Galactic Bounty as development continues.

We'll use Steam Discussions to gather feedback, suggestions and bug reports, and Steam announcements to share meaningful development updates.

We're particularly interested in feedback about combat, mission variety, progression, difficulty and overall gameplay feel.

As a small independent studio, we'll focus on providing useful updates as improvements are completed rather than promising a rigid update schedule.”
