Step into the eerie world of Ayasa: Shadows of Silence, a dark puzzle-platformer where light, shadow, and conscience shape your journey. Explore six symbolic lands - Faith, Hope, Love, Greed, Indifference, and Betrayal - and uncover a story told without spoken dialogue, through pantomime, surreal imagery, and music by Komitas.

Solve environmental puzzles, overcome dangerous terrain, and search for light in a world consumed by darkness. Your acts of compassion or indifference can change how the journey ends.

Story

The Inverted World once existed in balance, with light and shadow held in harmony under the watch of Tas, the Absolute. Then war shattered that balance.

As darkness spreads through lands scarred by greed, betrayal, and indifference, Ayasa must seek the remnants of Tas’s light within Faith, Hope, and Love. Survival is only part of the journey: the way you treat the world around you may determine what remains of it.

Gameplay

Guide Ayasa across treacherous terrain, avoid dangers, and solve puzzles woven into the environment. Each land introduces new obstacles and mechanics, bringing together platforming, exploration, and abilities that change how you interact with the world.

Pay attention to more than the path ahead. Encounters along the way invite you to decide when to help, when to act, and when to walk away.

Art Direction

Ayasa’s visual world draws inspiration from Tim Burton, René Laloux, Robert Sahakyants, Hayao Miyazaki, and Sergey Paradjanov.

Surreal landscapes, symbolic compositions, and a restrained color palette bring beauty and unease into the same frame. Each location tells a silent story through its shapes, light, and details.
