The amount of praying to get over the finish line is absurd. Just finishing is a miracle.

She ain't pretty, and she ain't awesome yet...But you can shoot fodder enemies, and collect experience/gold/credits and other players can shoot you... I'm not sure how many players can be in there at once... Maybe many? At least 10 I think....

I'm so exhausted, coding from 6 am to 2 am to get this out... I can't even write proper patch notes.

This is a life's dream of 38 years, complete, and the journey just begun.

In this brand new game mode, you will start equipped with one Drillbert and blast mining, with the possibility of getting more Drillberts as you go.

You unlock this game mode by…. Um, sorry but I can’t seem to find in my notes how to unlock it. 🤔 Oh well, you’re a clever bunch. I’m sure you’ll figure it out. Maybe ask Drillberts mom? Her name's Madrillda, by the way... You’d better hurry up though, word has it that Drillbert Mode can only be unlocked in April. 😁

More about Drillbert mode:

• You start with one Drillbert and the possibility to get plenty more
  
• You will not be able to upgrade any mining abilities
  
• You start with Blast Mining to help set up the right structures for your Drillbert friends to do their work

Good news! Now that the dreaded day of April 1st has passed it is safe for us to let you all know that Drillbert mode is indeed real, and can be unlocked at any point during the month of April. (Or if your computer believes it is April 2023, for all you people from the future reading this.)

AND: when it's unlocked it's yours to keep forever!

I wanted to do something special to celebrate, so the latest update include two special features – alongside the usual list of fixes.

• If you visit one of the game’s many towns, you might notice that things look…well, a little different to normal.
  
• And if you’ve completed the game, then taking a trip to the Frozen North in your Airship may reveal a special, spectral boss fight…

For anyone just trying to play the game normally, I apologise if this causes you any trouble. The changes to the towns and the extra boss will ONLY be available to players for 1 day (until midnight on April Fools’ Day in PST).

This was something that I can only do while the game’s exclusive to PC (as updating on console is much more complicated), so I hope it gives everyone a chuckle =) I’d love to know if you beat the boss!

In addition to the foolish festivities, this update also makes some further changes:

- Fixed a minor treasure chest bug in the Cliffside Ruins.

- Fixed a typo in the Final Dungeon.

- Nerfed Sunder HP a little more (from 12% to 10% of a foe's current HP), and fixed the incorrect description.

- Nerfed the Zero Sabre a bit more, reducing its Critical Hit chance from 50% to 25%, and its Attack power from 23 to 16. I've been trying to find a good balance with this weapon (as it can be incorporated very effectively in certain builds), so hopefully this is it!

- Changed the text directing players to the Leviathan's Lair to make its location a little more clear.

• Press P on the home page to quickly open a new save for testing
  
• The number of playing loops can be set for skill targets
  
• If the target of a skill group in self, the skill effect is "cast skill", and the target of the cast skill is a mono, then the parent skill is also considered containing a mono target. During cast, players can select the target (previously selected randomly). This means that "cast skill" can be used as a skill macro.
  
• You can set conditions for options. If the conditions not met, the option won't appear.
  
• Triggering multiple same sound effects in a short time (0.05 seconds) will be merged into one sound effect

Bugfix

• Showing image rotation does not work when speed is negative (clockwise).

For a whole year we completely changed everything in Any World and tried to come to a conditional ideal of the game, there were a lot of different ideas, concepts that we eventually used, then changing them very much, but as a result, it is now clear for sure that the game has become and will be even better than in 2022!
