Why Early Access?

“We want to improve Summer Islands with every step and how can you do that better than working with the community. That's why we want to use the Early Access option for Summer Islands.

With every new update for Summer Islands, there are good and not so good implementations. Our goal is to achieve the best gaming experience of Summer Islands for the players and that can be best done with the players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our goal is to finish the Early Access for Summer Islands in the next years. There are many features that we want to add to the game and that requires a lot of updates and bug fixes. Therefore, each feature takes time to implement and test.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the end, Summer Islands should have more buildings, weather conditions, different ships and planes and effects in the menus, buildings, and guarantee a greater gaming experience.

Also complete new features are planned, such as Counselors who can be hired for better information about the map, your enemies or the weather. The AI is more personal and will confront you.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Summer Islands is in a stable version with some bugs.
At present, the holiday paradise can be built on buildings in each section, e.g. Airplanes, ships, cars during transport. The AI is in a basic version and builds its own paradise, but still without interaction.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“During early access, we would like to work with the community. For this reason, the price will be lower in the first phase of early access. We hope that this is a good incentive for the player to give us feedback.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We think that any feedback on Summer Islands is justified. So we work with every feedback we receive to improve the strength of Summer Islands, get rid of bugs and create the best atmosphere in Summer Islands for the player.”

About This Game

Summer Islands is a holiday real time strategy business simulator. Be the right businessman, build your holiday paradise and grab the money from your tourists. Get rich and expand your paradise. Play alone, with your friends and against enemies and survive natural disasters without going insolvent.

Find your island

Create almost infinite numbers of maps with different seeds. One island, several or the Summer Islands mode. From small 100x100 maps up to 2000x2000 maps. From high mountains or just sand islands. Everybody finds his small island in the wide ocean or in the big archipelagos.

Build your paradise

Build cabins, villas or expensive hotels directly on the beach or in the mountains. When a building is finished, tourists can come by boat or plane. The tourists want to be preserved. Build bars, discos, golf courses, supermarkets and many other buildings that are popular with tourists and will make you rich as the owner.

Manage your finances, buildings and consultants

Borrow money or pay off your debts. Go out and advertise, or take out insurance. Check if your buildings are doing well and you can raise the rent. Hire consultants to protect you from sabotage, for example. Or would you rather unlock more sabotage? That is entirely up to you.

Survive natural disasters and defeat your enemies

Unfortunately there are also natural disasters that can destroy your buildings. Whether tornado, earthquake or meteorite, everything is possible.
In quiet times the competition comes from your enemy and expands over your land. Maybe there are some sabotage possibilities!

Create your own map and campaign

In the Map Editor you can not only create your perfect map. You can also fill it with events. Which buildings should be unlocked under which conditions. A match where you cannot build roads or there is no minimap? You want natural disasters to occur under certain conditions at a certain place? Try it out!
